Use Sesshoumaru raiz exampler.

While it's not necessary to go that exact route, it looks like you have problems inverting and the exampler should help. You don't look like you're committing at all to the raiz.

You know, more simply, it might be your lack of committing to the raiz. And if not I apologize, all I can say is that some of the time it looks like you're confusing your raiz with a cork. So just to help you decipher the difference between raiz and cork setup, you might want to try a traditional approach. Something like, stepping into the kick, or back wheel kick step in kind of thing. That way, you get a feel for the kick you're about to do, and then when you swing it around the next time, all it is is inverting it.

Hope that makes sense?

one piece of advice i can give on this move is that u should always throw a few per session if u really want to get good at it. and drill it to get it better and better. also throw your hand down the second one. mine got better when i put them after tricks in combos.

I never used gumbis as a prerequisite, they blow goats.
All I do in my raiz is start as a 540, but after takeoff I try and turn it into a flashkick. That is, instead of simply doing a horizontal tornado kick, try to actually invert it. Works for me.

Aren't these two raizes completely different? One is like a sideswipe but not landed on the kicking leg and one is like an aerial. Shouldn't he be working on the first one in this tutorial if he does it that way in his video?

Your head should be a lot closer to the ground when you torque your upper body. Like you were going to touch the ground with your hand but instead you torque, that way your feet end up above you

gumbis are as easy as cartwheels lol

True, but it might hurt people who have very bad flexibility in their legs and back
