Around how much should mine be for my age?
I did this:
Total Calories
2400
Protein
25%, 600 cal, 150g
Carbs
50%, 1,200 cal, 300g
Fat
25%, 600 cal, 67g

I know at my age I shouldn't care, but this makes it easier and more clear to me as to how much protein, carbs, and fat I should intake.

Age does not matter as much as height and weight normally. You on the other hand will be growing quickly in a matter of years and your metabolism will be wanting more. Your intake also depends on your goals.

The ratio looks fine. You have space to play around with carbs and fat ratio, you won't suffer if the protein would be abit lower on some days. All up to you in that case.

Is this fine for Lifting 3 times a week and HIIT 3 times a week?

Good to know it is fine, so now I can start off nicely :good:

And I just thought age mattered since I could have different needs compared to those of 18 years of age and so.

Once again, it depends on your goals. Want to put on some pounds? Shed some (Don't!)? Stay on the same weight range?

The last would mean just increasing as you grow, a couple of pounds per year would be normal in that case.

Maybe stay in the weight range, I just want a physique, not really bulking of any sort. But I guess 2400 seems reasonable enough for my goals right? And thanks for your rather quick replying, Rahf.

Well as long as you are either on the same weight or sloooowly increasing (which is normal, don't panic) I reckon you'll be fine. Adjust your intake accordingly if you start to drop.

Quick replying? It's not like I have anything better to do. I decided to not hit the clubs tonight so I'm stuck at home with little imagination on what to do. Not to mention I'm bulky! HOLY HELL I can't let myself be seen, my ab definition is gone! Not like it ever existed

Okay, then. If I drop, adjust, but if I stay or slowly incease, I have nothing to worry about. Thank you Rahf. :good:

Are you going to post another monthly update some time? I'm sure we can help you figure out why you got flabby...

you don't really need to pay too much attention to this but i'd suggest increasing the carbs. my diet is something like 65% carbs.

It was meant as a joke. To be perfectly honest Rock_ten I'd rather not receive advice from you.

I know. You'll have to learn by yourself :wise:

What about your monthly updates, then? I think quite a lot of people here liked seeing those.

Sometimes I wish TT would be more Kolo-like, seeing as that forum is dead in so many ways (sarcasm = sparm warning > ban) yet so much better in others.

True, but I do like the contrasts. And true idiots don't last very long here either.

You can't be funny or sarcastic at Kolo, I've been warned several times for no good reason. Imagine if Kolo was layed back... that would of been awesome.

You can definitely be that, you just have to pic the right threads or stay on-topic. I've never been warned once even though I've written total crap sometimes.

On TT people go off-topic now and then and nobody really cares. It's part of the community!

Yeah, but I still think that it's exagerated.

Think about it, that forum has been around since 2001. They've definitely had a similar vibe as we have here and somewhere along the line they decided to be super serious and not allow any bullcrap from anyone. "Hard but just" is the motto of the moderators apparently.
