is it simple enough to combo a bkick into a btwist if you can do the same combo without the twist relatively easily? also any advice on doing it? i'm thinkgin of trying it today so I was just curious

The only advice I can give you is go outside and try, if you fail, you can come here and ask for advice. Don't make threads about stuff you're going to try.

It's how I landed my first btwist. It's fun, just do it! :good:

I'ts not that hard and it's a pretty cool combo, also, if you don't get it straight away don't think you're shit or anything haha, it might just take getting used to.

Yeah if you have a bkick and btwist that's all you need. I didn't land my first several attempts but like Tim said you just have to get used to it. Not too hard a combo though. Here's one of mine:

Nice, horizontal btwist Swartz.

I've never tried bkick-btwists, but I did some Aerial-btwists (which is similiar). And their not that hard to land, but I find it rather hard to get a nice btwist after the Aerial. It's always really sloppy.

Drewpate, I think you should just go out and try it, maybe study Swartz' vid a bit first or something. Post a vid here if you land it:wink:

Shut up. You kick my ass in tricks haha. I'm not really known for speed in my tricks as much as I'd like. I tend to float around a lot, which is good too but yeah...I also want your bkick hook Tim. WTF.

Lol :) it's not that hard :) and i also don't get horizontal in the Btwist after the Bkick, remember, i'm totally out of practice now :(

And I'm not? It's not like my btwist is even like that half the time. I'm lucky to even land that combo now. I haven't tricked in well over a month, though I'll start again tomorrow when I go visit Pitlock and some others. Woo

style in tricking owns speed, if you can land like a 2-3 trick combo with more style than speed, i'd vote for you in a split sec

Hey if you go to Virginia or abouts there and they have some sort of gathering I could probably go. You know I should visit the fricken' UK sometime myself.

Ah.

I like how this went from a bkick-btwist question to a Tim-Matt chat.

i went out and tried it, but i have a problem getting height on the btwist from it, its like i just either stay at the same height as my bkick and then drop down to the ground while twisting. any suggestions?

You need to stall the twist obviously. You can't get height by just rotating as soon as you come out of the bkick. Get up in the air again for the second time and THEN worry about twisting.

I was going to say "just practice" instead of all that but really...just practice.
