do whatever's fun
learning tricks both ways helps with tonnes of stuff though. it's not as hard as it seems.

Yea if you want to do it do it haha. It could help with technique, it could help with being awesome, etc.
Although I will warn you against all the bs that will come your way right now, learning everything on both sides will NOT make you the combo master haha. Whenever someone does a multi-sided combo, they always have to take this huge ugly looking pause in the middle when they switch sides.
If you want to "master combos" learn all tricks on the same side.
But uhh yea, if you wanna just have a little fun, gain a little self fulfillment, help get the techniques straighter in your head, then both sides is the way to go. But it's extra fluff, if you find yourself struggling with it to a point where it hinders your actual tricking progress, you may want to reassess your decision.

Yeah its probably useful. I should do that, im so messed up. On a lighter note I died trying to raiz st gainer on my wrong side. Well the raiz was the good side the gainer was not.

I think the way Steve Terada would pause for a second, before switching back to his proper side and going berserk intensified the look of his combos.
Learning stuff on both sides will also even out the muscular imbalances tricking creates. I'd start with flash kicks, they're the first I learned on both sides.

sounds like its a good idea.
Funny story:
I was trying to Bkick on the other side, and i'd just end up doing a retarded looking roundhouse kick. I can tornado kick both sides fine though. (those are really my only two maneuvres so far).

It's fun doing stuff on both sides ^_^ But like Skilzat said, it's a bit ugly to switch sides mid-combo.
unless! you figure out a trick to switch using the same momentum...hahahaha...ha.

I use tidos to change direction!
It's the obvious choice. :good:
Gainers on either side are pretty piss. Gainer flashes even.
I wanna try corks/standing fulls/btwists wrong side but spinning the other way is so scary =O

wouldn't it be possible to switch sides using a 540 or a 360 quite easily?

i personally would recommend learning tricks both sides but this is just my personal opinion as i like the having tricks on both sides....so far i have aerial, cork, btwist and gainer (cork and gainer only from a swing set up at the moment). O and a half assed 540 which probably doesnt count but meh im working on it.

ah yup. I'm thinking it would help with co-ordination too.
