//Rant Begin. Cussing = true;

Yeah so I definitely destroyed my foot last week... never try to do stuff when you're tired or half asleep. My (left) foot just kinda crumpled underneath me with a satisfying cracking sound. Well actually it wasn't satisfying, it was horrendously suck. And then it turned purple and blue and shit. Foot fracture injury fuck. Don't ask me what I was attempting because it's an excruciatingly noobish move that I was already capable of doing on grass. What the fucking hell. And this was on fucking plyo too. Fuck. I fail.

Doctor says it'll be a month. I am wearing a boot. Pain without it. Fuck. This is my first substantial injury. I want to go trick but that's just plain fucking stupid to think that. Yet I am so pumped to do so, but I'll have to wait for ages before I can try to do shit again. So instead of tricking I've been watching samplers over and over and shit but then it just makes me even more anxious to trick. God damnit. I can't even get some good stretching done because my left foot gets owned by touching the floor. Now I'll lose flexibility too. Fucking injuries suck fuck.
:dead::dead::dead::dead:

//Rant End

So... Anyone who has had broken feet or w/e have any advice? Sometimes I get the feeling as though I will never be able to exert force with or use my left foot normally again. But it should get back to normal eventually right...?

Do some chinups.

I shall. But where to obtain a bar? Push-ups and shit also aggravate because my foot touches the ground. Even if I only use my good foot, the bad foot still gets owned while being held in the air or rested on my other foot just by being fucked.

Just rest it out for crying out loud! See this as an opportunity to finish off stuff that you haven't yet.

Finishing off... non-tricking related stuff? Like schoolwork?!
Interesting proposition....

..

what's the catch?

You can't trick for what will feel like ages and will most likely grow bored as hell. If you don't finish up school now you'll suffer in the future. I guess the catch is that school work isn't as fun.

You know better than me whatever it is that you've been neglecting. Don't end up ditching school mate, you'll regret it at a later stage. Like me.

Were you attempting a punch?

Hmm school is absolutely no problem for me. I've always been a massive nerd with AP classes, straight A's, math team and shit- Though it is junior year and I've been doing enough of this crap already so I'm quite lazy...

Oh. Halo 3.

Edit for tricker_d's question: Yes I was. Not the ones that require fists though.

Take this as a time also to research into tricking and learn new things that you don't know, I.e dietary aspects, the names of certain moves, techniques to moves etc

What do you think physical health is?

What kind of fracture is it? I am actually on this subject in Anatomy & Physiology, and I'm interested.

Hmm... they didn't tell me too many details, but from what I can gather, there are some cracks and stuff mainly around the top of the foot, like the navicular and talus region i think? and other painful stuff around the toes-phalanges or whatever. Sometimes I get the feeling like my foot is being split throughout from a line starting the 3rd and 4th toe. I don't think the cracks are that severe though- and a month isn't a very long healing time is it? There are bruises everywhere too but yeah. Oh, and my ankle is fine somehow, even though my foot totally collapsed into a very weird position- so just the bones of the foot got owned. I'm assuming that doing "titanium ankles" helped prevent ankle deathage. Maybe.

Do some chinups.
Seconded, it'll take the weight off your feet, it's great.
I shall. But where to obtain a bar?Buy one of the Bally's ones, they're in malls for like 20bucks.

Push-ups and shit also aggravate because my foot touches the ground. Even if I only use my good foot, the bad foot still gets owned while being held in the air or rested on my other foot just by being fucked.Rock Lee didn't complain. But I don't really understand how it hurts being elevated in the air when it's not resting on your foot. Did you hurt your hamstring too or something? Have you tried bending that wounded foot's leg to adjust how the weight of the foot is managed?

Mmm yeah I'm not Rock Lee :ouch:. Well it's really kinda lame how my foot gets weird pains even while not touching anything. My hamstring is fine. Have you ever had a foot cramp where it feels like your foot is being split down the middle with a knife? Yes? No? Well it's kinda like that but less intense when I'm suspending it in certain wrong positions- which happen to happen a lot during push-ups. very annoying.

I've definitely done a lot of weight adjustment on my foot- I get no pain while wearing the medical boot if I walk right. I've tried lame pussy push-ups where my knees touch the ground instead of feet... my foot doesn't hurt that way, but it's just crap push-ups. Any more ideas of exersizes that would work?

That happened to me 3 weeks ago. I was dong an axe kick on plyo (lol), and i kicked the ground with my toe (it didnt break) but it was painful, and it still hurts and i cant trick (and i couldnt walk either,a and i couldnt wear shoes for the first week). I was just watching samplers and stretching and strengthn training, i always went to try some tricks, but then i hurt my toe again and again.

BTW peopl the pain is almost gone, and i think it will be recovered fully for about 2 weeks. but i can practice my p720, 540, 360 and au batido, but i cant do kip ups and backflips and stuff like that. So is it ok to practice those tricks? Will it make the recovery last more? And is it realy ok to continue tricking? Because i cant stand 1 more day without tricking.... its been 3 weeks!!!! Yes or No

:good:

Do the tricks that don't put alot of stress on your foot. If it feels painful, stop. Start light with basic tricks that you're comfortable with.

Hm, since you can do the knee-pushups, do they still feel crappy 1-armed, or could you get those stretch things?
