Back when I was in TKD, I would occasionally encounter problems which people said was my hip flexor. Well not too long ago I went to do a pop 360 and then my left leg almost went limp in pain as my leg reached the height of the kick. It was the area just below my hip, right where my leg bends. Well yesterday I figured I wont have the same issue until I did either a 360 or c720, I dont recall and then It happened to me again! I've had the same issue in the past with my right leg doing 540's, but that's not an issue any longer..

It is in the area of 28 to 30. IS there anything I can do to prevent it, like exercises/stretches? Or is it one of those give it time to heal situations?

yeah Im basically broke right now, I forgot to mention that, so I have no money for any kind of bill. I figured rest would be the best remedy, thats what Im doing, but are there any kind of rehabilitation excersises?

Try to stimulate the pain with something other than a 360.

Well it doesnt take much for it to be in any kind of pain now, the pain doesnt really linger or anything, so when it starts to hurt again it suprises me. But Im not gonna trick while Im hurt like this, I felt that pain twice and it really sucked... Im going to give it a little while, but It wouldn't only hurt on the 360. The 360 just happened to be the one thing I went for and then hurt real bad... Really anything that kicked like a 360, like a c720 or something like that would hurt it...

What do you feel when you do static-active stretching like a front or back leg raise? Side?

swimming usually helps. It is good because you can still get decent exercise when hurt and in the process it is therapeutic for your muscles. Some light stretching would help too, if it does not hurt.
That's what works for me at least.

I have recently bought a martial arts stretching book, so there is quite a few different streches in there. Other than swimming, are there any other ways of strengthening this particular area?

I can't think how swimming strengthens the hip flexors. I guess sort of when you're kicking.

well, there's some strokes that would be good to do lightly.
especially the Breast stroke.
but other than swimming, light stretching, and rest.....
I guess you could do some light yoga.
that's another thing that has worked for me in the past.
