Go make snide sarcastic comments in another thread. I'm curious what others takes are on the probable hype of danger.

you should expect comments like that in threads like this.

I actually expect nothing less then that from an internet forum, and in terms of this particular one I expect it most of all from your parasitical ass.
I've nothing against them either, it's just yours don't amuse me.

Ah see, you should've said that in the first place because it's informative, I was just curious because I just microwaved my chicken breast, looked it up on google and came up with a bunch of .com sites citing the same thing, a study done by a swedish food scientist and banning of them in Russia.
shengoikee is right of course
I'll microwave some of tygurspawn's flouride water and see if it explodes or transforms into a killing machine.

Fluoride is what is keeping your teeth in your mouth.

Getting microwaved is dangerous. Eating microwaved food probably isn't. Everyone against it always seems to be selling some kind of oven they want you to use instead. Big religious vitalists like Mercola hate it, but this is coming from a guy who thinks prayer cures people and tapping someone on the temple fixes their rape angst.
I have never ever heard anyone worry about microwaves and yes it is a common way of prepping food with here.

The fluoride issue, unlike the microwaved food one, is a fairly credible concern.
There's two sides to it - firstly what health problems and benefits the ingested fluoride causes, and secondly where the balance lies in whichever particular population as to whether or not it is a good idea to fluoridate the water.
There was a thread on M&M about it...
here: http://www.mindandmuscle.net/forum/index.php?showtopic=25136&hl=fluoride
If anyone has any links about microwaved food being dangerous then I'd certainly like to see them. We might expect nutrient levels to be different in certain foods after microwaving compared to roasting, steaming, boiling, or whatever - since all cooking methods will see variations there anyway. I have never come accross any serious discussion of the topic.
There's no point in fluoridated water.

Hmmm, well I didn't know about pubmed up until this thread so thanks for that but I had done some research prior to making this thread.
Thanks for getting the dingleberries.

I am in agreement that fluoridated water is dumb and unnecessary. I hate that we need to basically digest fluoride because poor people are too stupid to brush their teeth. If they can't afford toothpaste, then give them toothpaste stubs or something. Odds are brushing is going to help them more anyway, especially if they use a brush instead of their finger or those fucking crest finger diddler PoS fucks.
That being said, anti-fluoride paranoia is stupid and excessive. There's no reason to drink it, but it's been proven to help the teeth. People are even afraid to use toothpaste even if they don't swallow because of the miniscule amounts that would be absorbed through the skin in your cheeks.
I guess that's sort of a concern, but it doesn't seem like a big one. If push comes to shove, you could always get those things dentists put over your teeth to sandwich the fluroide around the teeth and make it hit everywhere, which greatly keeps most of it away from your mouth. You know, you bite down and stuff.
Now I want to get that, it just seems better, less fluoride would get wasted because it'd go right on the teeth and get pressed against it and you wouldn't have it sloshing around not having time to get absorbed or remineralize the enamel.
