gainer arabians are hardly the kind of trick you "work"

a flik flak is not a backhandspring in tricks. lol
its a really slanted gainer switch round...so kinda like a cork round...minus the twist. =]

I think they say flik flak because it's easier to mention when people do combos..like round off flik flak is easier to say than round off backhandspring back tuck

a flik flack isnt a back hand spring. -___-

its a slant gainer switch with a round. kinda like a feilong cross.

I always heard that there was a type of BHS called a flip-flop. Does anyone know what that is at all and if there's any diff. between that and a BHS?

its not a type of bhs, its just another name for the bhs

Corrected:

It's not a type of bhs, it's just a shitty name for the bhs.

I guess it depends on where you're from [region], cause I never heard of the term "flick flack" in relation to BHS's...until I met people from Europe and the New England area of the US. Everywhere I've lived...a "flip flop" was synonymous to BHS.

But yeah...in T10X, the term "flik-flak" is not reffering to BHS.

At least in Sweden "flick flack" is a shitty name for BHS and "flip flop" is a badass name for beach shoes like those!:S http://www.shanti.nu/bilder/flip1.jpg

Dude! Feilong cross = Hook-Round feilong instead of crescent-crescent. Shaolin cross = Hyper ktm-switch/Hyper flik flack.

Yeah man, you're very correct.
the Back hand spring here is called flick or flique...
Other tricks also have they own terminology
540 is called clipper, chakram kick, shulipa, chao lee paa.
C-720 is called tatsumaki sempukyaku, like its a hard name to spell they call it (kat kat)
Aerial is called estrelinha that in english it means star.
Raiz is called jerk foot
and webster is called paa toranee or cut open the ground.

Okay, I asked one of the coaches during open gym,and he said that a gymnastics flik-flak is when you do multiple back-handsprings in rapid succession, while remaining in the same spot.
