i have chickens, ducks and quails at home that all lay eggs on a almost daily basis, so i always have at least one duck or chiken egg in the fridge (stuff the quails)
so the question is: how good are duck eggs?

are they better that chickens?

Pretty much the same, slightly more calories and fat than chicken eggs.

Do eggs count as meat?Because in theory an egg is a "chicken to be" and if so why do vegetarians eat them?...Or,because the egg hasn't fully developed into a chicken it just doesn't count as a meat?

Edit:Is that even a reasonable question?

Some vegetarians don't eat anything coming from animals, they're called vegans. I wouldn't know about your everyday vegetarian because I'm an omnivore.

No, no it isn't.

An egg is only a 'chicken to be' if the hen has been penetrated by a rooster.

No rooster, no baby chicken.

Not much difference from what I've noticed. What are the quail eggs like?

We have a chicken and a duck aswell. I would really like to kill them both, as they are noisy and they shit everywhere. Our backyard stinks, and there are always alot of flies because of the constant shitting.
Too bad my younger sister is emotionally attached to them.

What is the life expectancy of poultry?

Duck eggs taste a lot better i reckon. They have a stronger flavour and brighter yolk.

I always thought that quail eggs were pretty much the same as chicken eggs, just a bit smaller...

...and if it hatches a baby quail pops out instead of a baby chicken.

Yeah, imagine egging someone with a duck egg. You would probably just knock them out.

Quail eggs seem like too much effort, and it would feel a bit odd cracking them open I guess (though it doesn't really make sense logically).
