That's what happens when you lift heavy....period. Anyone pulling 715 is going to have a nice back.
As far as young guys deadlifting goes, I believe Benedikt Magnusson pulled the most for his age (he was pulling 970 in competition at 21). Viking genes.:dead:

This neanderthal mindset and suits/wraps that add 100-200lbs to your various lifts is what makes powerlifting so utterly retarded.

I train from 6am-10am every morning then again from 4-6pm, on four days per week and on the other three I don't take a break and just train for 12 hours straight. Soon I will increase to 16 hours per day and hope to become a professional strongbuilder.

But the powerflifters I met so far are nice guys and not cocky...despite their mindset regarding weights. :)
And a suit doesn't add much to a deadlift. Maybe 15-20 kg. You don't have a negative movement in which you can build up tension.

Despite there being gear that assists lifts, it doesn't make the numbers unimpressive in the slightest. The main objective is to lift as much weight as possible, and in that context, things like bench shirts and squat suits help achieve that goal. Nonetheless, most people will never pull as much as guys like Benedikt in their lifetime.
It would be awesome to train in a gym like that though. Your adrenaline would be through the roof on all of your sets.
Powerlifters look wicked when they cut down.

AFAIK Dave Gulledge there trained "like a bodybuilder" for quite a while in the run up to those pictures. Same with Dave Tate getting ripped - he didn't train for PLing during that time.
You'll all want to misinterpret that as me trying to say they had no muscle before they did that, so don't.

He was probably on the anabolic diet or some kind of a variation of the ketogenic diet. Basically, he was eating nothing but fats and proteins on the weekdays, which gave him that "dry" look in the first picture. On the weekend, after carbing up, glycogen fills up his muscles, giving him a "fuller" appearance.

Or he just went on a typical BB diet and emptied out carbs before the first pics.

And well-timed carb cycling circumvents this wonderfully, while maintaining the innumerable benefits of ketogenic dieting.

Oh, and that 18 year old dude, if what he claims is true (there are lots of people out there doubting him, though), then that's one helluva inspirational work there. It's good to see that he doesn't solely credit his genetics but also his efforts and consistency in training.
I'm a year older than him and I have yet to hit 500 by January...

No offense I'm sure you work hard and I do have good genetics, but I do work ridiculously hard, not just in lifting but every thing, to the point where a normal person would think I was insane.
I lift 5x a week on a dam hard routine, + run 4 miles averaging 5 min miles. 5-6 days a week. + 15 mins of agility/speed work after every run.
+ 2000+ swings in the batting cage a week + long toss 2x a week 30+ throws (foul pole to foul pole on a line) + pitching pratice once a week + fielding pratice 3x a week.
Never said I was any better then every one else we are all human..
The other dude stated because I have decent genetics I did not work for what I have I disagreed.
Maybe a little, I don't know.

"It's good to see that he doesn't solely credit his efforts and consistency in training but also concedes that genetics play a role in his transformation and achievements."
Fixed.
It makes no sense to say that he doesn't solely credit his genetics because he never did that in the first place. Moreover, it's extremely rare that someone will do that precisely because it makes it seem like they didn't have to work hard to achieve their goal, which is why bringing up genetics tends to be such a potent insult in the first place.

Ah, touche.
There were so many people out there whining about how superior his genetics is and outright accuse him of steroid use.
