i lost an assload of weight by lifting weights :good:

power cleans, squats, deadlifts and similar stuff to that.

just make sure you eat plenty of carbs. that's it haha

Hmm, this made me wonder, about carbs that is. Can you get fat from over-carbing in your diet? I mean, ofc you could get fat from taking in too much of nearly anything, but just an over adequate amount of carbs, like over banana'ing - well, what do you think? :ogre:

In short: Should one be careful to balance the intake of carbohydrates? Even though it's included in such a huge food group.

That awesome! I use to do that, at the gym everyday killing power cleans and squats and others. But, I quit the gym for stupid reason. Still did karate barely, rarely tricked, and drank mass quantities of alcohol. Fucking worse mistake of my life. I gained hella weight, but like I don't look it m the only one who notices it. I weigh around 190, I wnt to be about 170 again for maximum pwnge.

ahhh cool kinda similar to me. i was like 205lbs 6months ago. major fatass haha. well not fat just too heavy for tricks.

when i started weights i was 190ish now i'm like 175ish which is muuuch better for tricking. only been this last month and a half which is cool.

If by over-carbing you mean eating more energy than you expend then yes you could potentially put on fat through that.

You should at least strive to keep your refined sugar intake on a smaller scale. Other than that it's energy in - energy out that decides if you put on excess amounts of fat.

yeh, im about 202lbs at the moment and it makes tricks wayyy harder, i need to cut down to around 192 for boxing
