im going to end this thread by saying (and possibly lying in doing so) that human growth hormone will have some sort of ingredient from animals and therefore you (a vegetarian - or the butt of Birch's joke) cannot consume it in anyway.
Good day to you sir.

Besides the fact that you don't have any business using any form of AAS or HGH anyway.
Why are you vegetarian? :eh:
No there is no point in using it. Let your body have its own course of growth. I'm saying it for your own good.

Aslong as you're not a vegan it's fine. Thoose people are just plain retarded! I can see that some people feel empathy for animals, but what harm is it in consuming the food that they produce?

i'm definately not vegan
I reckon Bill Pearl does a pretty good job of showing how you can grow and be a vegetarian.
Plus, you can grow and be a vegetarian.
Vegan might be harder, but you can do it.
I'd much rather just eat meat myself, but I understand.

The idea generally held is that while meat is mass murder in the eyes of vegetarians and vegans alike, most forms of dairy production are just as bad except the animals are kept alive. I think it goes something like Meat is murder, dairy is rape.
I know a lot of vegans that also just find the way the western world procures meats to be really unethical given the massive scale it takes place on.
I generally try to buy local, organic produce of all sorts which I feel eliminates the fear of ethical corruption. As I do not feel there is anything wrong with killing an animal to eat it.
My girlfriend is vegan and she has some pretty reasonable arguements for her. Whenever she's in India or travelling she'll eat dairy simply because of a more ethical system over there and generally in other parts of the world.
That's my two cents on being vegan.

The problem especially with vegans is, that most of them won't hear reason. They seem like some kind of cult indoctrinated with some sayings about the cruelty to animals. Yet, every single vegan I've asked totally ignored my questions about monocultures and the poor vegetables which can't even run(!)...
They allege meat eaters not only to eat "cadavers" or "corpses", but also say that we're practicising speciesism.
But what the fuck are they doing by classifying only animals and not vegetables or fruits to be worth forms of life
As I said, most vegans only repeat their doctrines during a discussion and won't listen to any argument.
I'm almost as far as to believe that a vegan lifestyle directly correlates with reduced brain activity.

animals = plants is the dumbest theory i've ever heard.
you ever heard of plant cruelty..? do any organizations come and fine you if you step on, or cut up a plant..?
do plants have brains..? hearts..? thinking processes..? do plants give birth and have families..?
do plants feel pain when you cut them..? (no, no brain = no nerve system)
i'm not a vegan, but ppl have asked me this before in an attempt to sound smart.

my opinion about this debate is smth like this:
plants = living beings = animals. better? there are LOTS OF similiraties. eat healthy. never try to be smart and eat for ethics.
you ever heard of plant cruelty..? do any organizations come and fine you if you step on, or cut up a plant..?
yep, no plants, no life. they are a huge part of the eco system, one of the most important. you kill plants, you kill lots of animals with them and change the ecosystem...

Are you positive that a fish feels pain when you cut it? What about sea stars and other entities that don't have a brain. How can you be so sure that a plant is not a sentient being? And yes plants do reproduce, thankfully.
And yes, the state would sue me if I plucked or cut down several species of plantlife.
PS: I'm just being an ass here, pointless discussions can be fun sometimes.

So you're admitting that you're a speciesist as well? Of course in your own unique way, but no matter how you look at it, you're still not better than me who eats animals.
Plants are living beings, just as animals and humans.
Most animals don't pass the self-awareness test, yet you put them much higher than plants.
And no matter how you look at it, cows, pigs and other animals are totally inferior to the human intelligence.
You have NO proof that an animal feels pain like a human and NO proof that a plant doesn't feel pain.
What vegans (and apparently you) do is simple: you spout around some half-researched things which you believe to be the ultimate truth.
Look around on the web. You won't find a single vegan site which shows actual evidence. All they do is say things like "there is no reason to assume that plants can feel pain". Wow that's some amazing evidence right there! Now I can be sure that they don't feel pain and start to feel good because of my ethical superior lifestyle!
And I'm not attempting to sound smart.
Actually, I could give a huge flying shit about what vegans eat or not eat. But every single time you eat meat around a vegan (and often also around vegetarians) or the topic moves towards eating habits, they pull out their thick cannon of ethical justice+10.

The problem with vegans in particular, but also vegetarians to a large degree, is not that their arguments aren't valid -- because usually, they are, and western factory farming is pretty terrible -- nor is it that you cannot be healthy on a diet that doesn't include meat (although you can't possibly have any carnisine in your body unless you supplement with it daily, and most of these people are deficient in iron and complete sources of protein)...
No, the problem with these people is simply that they truly believe they are BETTER than everyone else.
If it weren't for that, I really wouldn't have a problem with that lifestyle, but they just have to be so fucking hoity toity about it...
Fuck parrots.

And on a sidenote, in response to a previous comment in this thread...
Bill Pearl built up to an olympian level physique before ever becoming a vegetarian. And he still consumed eggs, milk, and whey protein afterwards. Which is acceptable... it just isn't very manly.

I think only Humans, Chimpanzees and Orangutans have been definitively proven to be self-aware.
'Life is a condition that distinguishes organisms from inorganic objects and dead organisms, being manifested by growth through metabolism, reproduction, and the power of adaptation to environment through changes originating internally.'
Plants are alive and vegans are gay.

Plants are mind-numbingly complex creatures. They do indeed give birth and have families. In fact, they're amazing because they manage to carry on metabolic and reproductive processes while posessing NO organs or independently mobile cells.
If the only thing on trial here is that animals are conscious and therefore we shouldn't kill them, that's a ridiculous idea. Humans are designed to consume meat. In any culture where meat is removed in place of plant (especially grain), health starts to deteriorate and diseases crop up like wildfire.

lol..? thats ur argument back..? "plants = living"..? isn't that what you said in the first place. and we aren't eating trees here, most vegetables are grown in farms as well. so ur eco system point is kind of moot.
So you're admitting that you're a speciesist as well? Of course in your own unique way, but no matter how you look at it, you're still not better than me who eats animals.
so thats what it all comes down to. i'll admit the hippy vegetarians are intrusive and annoying, but i don't get why people (in real life as well) feel insecure and threatened when they found out i'm vegetarian. i've never forced my beliefs on to others.

Vegans have probably in 90% of the cases turned vegan for the sake of animals. Healthy vegetarians probably exist because of the fright of having to maybe one day eat an ox heart.. (thump thump, thump thump).

Hi. I suck at tricking because I'm NEARLY THIRTY FUCKING YEARS OLD, but I thought I'd chuck in my two cents, being a vegan and all. One that used to work for those cockholes at PETA, no less.
1. Most animals have a central nervous system. Plants don't. Ergo, the chances of animals feeling pain in near-as-dammit the same way you or I would are pretty high (maybe even insects : they have a ganglionic system, which means that they COULD feel pain, but may be too dumb to give a shit about it). Fish also suffer explosive decompression of the eyes if hauled up from a deep enough depth, which'd be funny if it was a cartoon but makes me feel a bit shitty in real life.
2. Preachy vegans are all total dickwipes. That's why I am best friends with a committed carnivore and he and I have huge fun mocking one another.
3. Mike Mahler is vegan and his kettlebell-swinging frame is pretty goddamn buff.
4. Carl Lewis.
5. It is possible to be healthy on pretty much any varied diet so long as you're smart.
6. I know many vegan capoeiristas and b-boys, so the idea of vegan tricking isn't totally absurd.
7. Those cats are awesome.
