I've been feeling really sick this weekend and I need to know which kind of foods will help me recover more and just prevent the dizziness and puking feeling. I have a mix of the flu and a bad cold.

try taking lots of supplemental vitamin C. A gram every hour, say.

Not outside The Publicus, man.
That branle filth should just stay there
Hahaha, 1000 mg of vitamine C every hour. That'll help, hahaha.
I usually mix a cup of frozen blueberries into water and drink it over a timespan of about 30 minutes. Lots of antioxydants, and it's cheap too.
Sadly, I haven't been able to buy blueberries today (as I'm out), and I'VE GOT THE FRIGGIN FLU!!! I'M BORED OUT OF MY MIND!!!

yes what a hilarious idea I proposed. No one but me believes it to be useful, and you'd be much better off slowly consuming a delicate cup of blueberries.

it hasnt screwed my teeth over, but good thinking.... but then again ive never eaten more than about 3 in any week... and i dont brush straight afterwards in any case (which will destroy your teeth).
And yes i do brush my teeth every day.... usually twice...

Well, I can kinda see what Jan is saying because alot of bulemics (people who throw up to lose weight, lolololololol) have fucked up teeth because of the stomach acids. And limes have a shitload of citric acid in it so......its possible but only in major excess. Wouldn't it fuck up your stomach first, eating too much giving you ulcers?

I agree with longcat.
You'll get screwed up teeth.
Can you ban anyone who says 'branleh' outside of the publicus. I thought we were past that fad already (which happened to be the most ridiculous and un-amusing TT fad I can remember).

Ive never had that problem either (and i hope i never do), but as you say, that would only be a threat if i had major excesses... more than the quantities needed to help keep illnesses away.
On side notes:
-Being happy is a good way of preventing illness.
-I often find i am at a greater risk of being ill when abroad.
If I see one, I'll ban him or her.
