it all depends on what you like...

with Anis, you get:

RIDICULOUS HEIGHTTT
Perfect Raiz swingthroughs
POWERPOWERPOWERPOWERBut...You can kind of tell what he's going to do in his combo almost every time.
It's rare you see him throw something "off key" or "unpredictable"...he plays it safe because he knows he can double out of everything haha.


with Sessh, you get:

VARIETY
Innovative, unique, different combos.
lots of "crowd awakening" variations of tricks.


I personally prefer sessh to anis, and also realize there are other tricksters in this video but IMO Sessh and Anis are in a level of their own!

On the other hand, many trickers don't care much for variety etc, and favor power moves and combos that aren't so much unique as they are insane difficulty wise.


So I may get the same "wow" effect from Sessh's Gumbi > kip up 180 > swing through gainer flash, as you might get from Anis doing Raiz > Double Cork.
(both combos off the top of the head, not necesarily in original post's video)

I'm not saying either combo is superior, I think both are sick :good:

He's bad at anything that goes upside down, and I dislike his style. Watching him trick is like a loud spinning gremlin. You know me maxx, just not my style. His cheat9double does make me cream though.

I guess everyone has their own taste in style...
While Emig isn't my favorite, he is still one of the best kickers out there...and imo that is the most important thing in tricks.
But like I said, everyone has their own taste =D

Emig just embodies the formal side of tricking in my mind. To a lesser extent, people like Matt Caito, Stephen Renney, Jeff R, etc, have the same effect on me. Bubba is a kicking specialist too I would say, but he's fucking awesome to watch because the creativity seems to be free-flowing in his style, and just seems to have more fun with it. I def agree with you on taste too, Matt isn't big on the tricks I most like to do, so that's gonna play a factor.
