One of my buddys didn't eat for a day then ate only carrots as a huge meal to try to shit orange. It didn't work.

Actually carrots make you yellow because of the beta carotene, but when taken in conjuction with say tomato, which makes you red, you will be orange.

Beta carotene has a very small effect when it comes to coloring fat. You wouldn't really see any real difference no matter what amount.
