The deep line under your abs.

This thread is not a joke.

The obliques? The bit to the side that kinda looks like the side of the abs?

I guess so.

Twisting motions (full twists) check out a video of Munks, his are pretty built from years of tumbling

My bodyfat is as low as that guys haha, though I never really do any oblique or abdominal training.

Edit: What the fuck, is that Munks?

You know the crunches (or situps) where you twist your body, touching your right elbow to your left knee and vice versa, do those. Or fulltwists

I really should do more abdominal training.

Low body fat.
Rotary and hip-dominant movements.
Genetics.

Great Exercises:

Suitcase-style barbell deadlifts (http://www.fitstep.com/Misc/Newsletter-archives/issue45-deadlifts.htm) (do not perform like a side bend)
Diagonal cable chops (and other types of cable twists)
Single-leg RDL or SLDLs
Saxon bends
Roman chair side bends

Those first two are probably the best.

Mediocre Exercises:

Lying knee-ups
Lying windshield wipers
Hanging knee-ups
Hanging diagonal knee-ups
Hanging windshield wipers

Don't bother with twisting crunches and sit-ups. They're a waste of time.

This thread serves as a reminder to myself that I basically don't do any abdominal work.

Apparently the obliques are a muscle group that have remarkably low potential for strength gain. My obliques develop indirectly, I would assume from squatting. Even at slightly higher bodyfat percentages they are still pretty obvious on my body.

*shrug*

How many fucking times must this question be answered? Especially with all the snide faggotry you post in this forum, Zeff.
