When you meet up for your sessions what do you do? Do you have a routine?

My team we bring snacks and eat them before we trick. haha. Last night I brought cereal. The for some reason we do wall flips for like 20 min., then move onto straight up tricking. Also for about 5 hours of our trick session we listen to the same 3 songs over and over again.

I trick alone :agony:

But then, when I trick, I always start with kicks, then mixing up everything else

When I usually 'trick' (I don't actually trick, I just do random tricking moves kinda thing, I'm not a real tricker haha) it's with two other buddies of mine, we play Rock, Paper, Scissors and whoever loses goes first, and then whoever loses after goes second, and whoever won goes last ofcourse =] Then we do the tricks in that order and we only allow like a 30 second break between each person at most to prevent people from warming down. You can go at any point within the 30 seconds, but if you don't, you HAVE to go as soon as the 30 seconds is up or you lose your go and end up having rather nasty stiff muscles when its your turn again.

Personally,I warm up (kick + basic trick : au-batido,cartwheel, handstand...), and after I start by doing (or even try to do) 5-10 time each move I know in the order I learn them ( 360kick, aerial, B-Kick + B-twist, Tornado kick + 540kick, feilong + doubleleg, backflip).

And after this I start real tricking (whatever I want  )

That's my every days routine !

Bagel don't meet up much at all these days. What with people being in different parts of the country and stuff.

When I trick on my own I usually spend aaaages working on basics and never get around to learning anything new. It sucks. haha.

i do this combo first to loosen up: hook-narabong-scoot-misleghook
And then easy combos like 540hook-aerial, cheat900-540

I basically warm up, then do kicks (crescents, hooks, 540's) then try some kicks I can't do yet (jack-knife, pop7, cheat7) then I do flips and tumbling and tricks and stuff

I always do a fair bit of leg stretching, and sometimes some front split attempts. Then i usually do some basic kicks like hooks, tornados and a lot of bkicks to get the light and loose feeling. Then i do a few back flips to guage how light and powerful i feel for the day, which determines how hard im going to trick, and how difficult the combos will b that i attempt.

i barely strech before i trick. i just start by doing tricks i can do easily. then work up. some times ill be really tired then ill feel like going out to do like an aerial or something. then i will just start throwing a bunch of tricks and combos lol

I trick alone, I take a HUGE walk before hand, and I always warm up to music.

For rituals, well, I always do breathing and visual exercises before tricking, because, well, I have to. :eh:

Yes walking, I always go on a really long hike into the middle of the wilderness and find a nice patch of grass or semi-treeless area.

Yes walking, I always go on a really long hike into the middle of nowhere and find a nice patch of grass.

Aha, that reminds me. I will move from one location to another if there are potentially people watching me. I get really nervous when people watch me (that aren't other trickers); I like to trick in complete solitude.

Yes definitely! I sometimes get so caught up that I don't realize that there are three or so hikers stopped at the edge of the woods. When I do spot them I stop, scoop up my backpack along with my camera and scuttle to an even more remote area haha

Yojutsu based Bakemonojutsu...to "purify" the imeediate proximity [I'm extremely spiritual, or superstitious if that's what you want to call it].

Nah, meditation is internal...this has an external effect that accompanies the outgrowth of Sammitsu.

I stretch intensly beforehand, then I usually start with tricks I'm trying to learn, sometimes I build up confidence by practicing preregs or easier variations. After that i do whatever I feel like.

Bakemonojutsu = ghost arts ? Cool

Wish I could prepare myself mentally.

I do some light streches, then some kicks and rearly easy moves. Then I do differnet things depending on how i'm feeling and what i've been thinking about lol. For example, last night I was improving my aerial, b kick and b twist.
