CA gatherings??

I'm on holiday in the USA and we (my Dad and step-family) are going to california from the 29th July- 17th August and seeing as I'll no doubt be missing the UK Gathering I wondered if it'd be possible to attend a CA one instead :good:

Does anyone have some information (if any) on the subject?

Loopkicks starts at the end of July this coming year. It's in the Bay Area though, you gotta realize that California is almost double the size of the entire UK in total area. It's not a short drive from Los Angeles, which is where I assume you'd be landing.

fair enough, That's cool, my auntie lives in San Bernardino, I'm living with her for a few days when i arrive in LA. Btw the rest of bagel i.e. Rook and Dragonic mike, may be going across the US together so you may meet the hole team XD!

That's pretty far out in the middle of nowhAr! Well actually it depends where in San Bernadino, but still.

That's not so bad. I actually know of a desert highway that I can take to San Bernadino, completely bypassing the rapetraffic of Los Angeles. The gym is the Wooden Center at UCLA, Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-whenever for 5 dollars.

We could also go to LAVC on Fridays, but I've never actually been there. And it's a whole lot further away from San Bernadino.

if mike comes we're gunna buy a cheap motherfucking car and drive across the USA, so we should be able to drive pretty much anywhere

I'm landing in Illinois where my Dad and step-family live and then we're taking a road trip to Los Angeles I believe.

I can't imagine getting a lift to anywhere would be too much of a problem but if I could have a confirmed location of gatherigns then I could get back even quicker.

Well, you could trick at the UCLA gym while I'm gone if you talk to Zephyranthes. But we don't really have a list of gatherings here, the California tricking community is much less of a closely interacting group than the UK one.

Probably not. As far as I'm aware it's going to be late July -> earlyish August; slap bang when I'm in the USA. And then I'm off to Greece about mid August.

I wish I could come next year though :sad: I'll have actually progressed!

What are the local spots to trick?
I noticed a gym just outside the neighborhood I'm staying in.

Not to many real trickers I know of out there. But Gym Max is a nice spot, South Coast Gymnastics, and Kidnastics. Danny Sre and a kid named John go to Kidnastics but I think they mainly tumble. Id suggest SCG to trick with Street Justice. Only spots on grass out there Ive tricked at were Siglar Park, and this one spot by Dickens Circle and Westminister Ave

if you come down to my area we can trick at venice or santa monica beach. or at any park. i just discovered burbank park. it has amazing grass
