Stop tricking on mats, then learn all of your basics on grass and go on from there.

Oh man are you the guy with the springmats everywhere? You better had learned your basics right when people started telling you to stop tricking on springmats.

It's like only tricking on a tramp and then wondering that it's harder on normal ground. Only much less clever/effective/professionell/(ad positive adjective here)...

Edit: On Topic: I have mixed feelings concerning winter. Most of the time it just sucks, it's cold, dark, rainy & muddy. Whats annoying me the most is the fact, that going to the shower in the morning without freezing like hell is nearly impossible.

But Snowboarding is just fantastic. Too bad that I can do it only on vacations because here are no mountains. I really need a winter on/off switch function.

you need to trick out side more..and stop (temporarily) tricking on mats, or springfloor what ever you trick on. your body has gotten accustom to it, so it makes tricking in the grass harder. Just keep tricking in grass and all your tricks will comeback, then when you go back to mats or what ever they will be 10x better

Haha showering in the morning fucking sucks, couldn't agree more  As for the snowboarding you're right, but if you ask me it's should be cold and snowy only in the mountains and hot and sunny down here in the valleys (you don't need winter down here, since you snowboard in the mountains :wicked: )

P.S.: I miss summer and those fucking hot bitchez in bikinis :juji:

I am totally your opinion! Geographical division seems to be the key. So lets take alle the non-needed winter from the flat areas and put it to the mountains. That way we can have summer and hot bikinibabes where we live and the opportunity to go Snowboarding, whenever we want, in all seasons.

ummm...try doing it from a hook setup....thats how I got it. But, it shouldn't make that much of a difference though. Just practice though, it'll get easier. OH! And condition your shins!

I'm sick of all your generic advice-seeking threads Violent Cobra. You're basically saying "I can't trick. Please help me. The end."

You're ranting more than anything. No videos (which is actually good in this case from what I saw before) and no move-specific problems really. "Can't jump" isn't one, trust me. Keep practicing and shut the hell up.

Maybe you right but is really serious cuz i cant cheat 720 and 540 like in mats i just dont given me jump in every topic you said like "you stupid" and you dont help if enybody have tips just tell me today i go to grass and i shot it ok but dude just try to help and not scream

Swartz
Nov-17-07, 11:51 PM
Damn right I'm right. Nobody is screaming at you either. This is all text here and I didn't even use caps haha. I'm simply telling you the cold hard truth. You're whining about how you can't do this or that on grass rather than mats. Why would you ask advice on something as silly as that? If you want to land a move on grass, practice it on grass. Grass is hard, it doesn't give you a rebound/bounce. Just use some common sense.

It sounds like you just realized that tricking is in fact DIFFICULT. Well no shit. Welcome to tricking. There is no easy way to learn this stuff. You just have to work on it consistently and let time transform you into someone skillful. There is only one "tip" for you: practice.

Don't accuse of me of not helping you. I did in my last post and I'm just repeating myself here because there's nothing else to be said. The advice I've given you is the only advice needed to give. You will not hear anything better from anyone. End of story.

p.s. To be honest I never thought I'd actually try to help you again after what I saw from you in the past but I'm just hoping you'll eventually become mature enough to understand what I'm getting at.

Violent Cobra, i want you to get a lighter, doesnt matter how, and burn your matt down. Dont even think about it. Literally. Everytime you ask for advice, it always has something to do with your fucking matt. Just forget that you even had one. Its seriously for your own good.

The problem with your 540 is that you probabaly cant tornado yet. I searched your threads, and im pretty sure you cant. In order to get a much cleaner, and in this case the flow, of a 540 you must practise tornados first, get them fast and clean and then move on.

Violent Cobra, i want you to get a lighter, doesnt matter how, and burn your matt down.

Don't be so rude to the matt, it's not her fault! Matts are very usefull objects when used properly. You can sleep, dance or let little kids hop around on them, but using it as a springboard to learn 540s and 720s is just stupid.

If he would use them because he has fear to try flips etc on normal ground and wants to get used to the feeling and be sure to be landing them (without using the matt as a springboard of course) I wouldn't say anything negativ and he sure had no problems to get the moves on normal ground.

He should better burn himself instead of the poor matt.

get used to the grass man.

it should be grass > plyo.

If you have awesome tricks on grass, when you go onto plyo your tricks will go into orbit. Plus, you'll probably want to try new moves because your first time on plyo will make you think you're tricking on a duvet.

And working on your tornados more wouldnt hurt either ;)

stop running into it and learn a proper cheat setup

And working on your tornados more wouldnt hurt either ;)

do what he said and don't waste our time with videos where you do the same mistakes over and over again, whithout listening to the advices given to you.

Your problem is in the weak setup and the bad tornadokick, which both you claim to be good. Realize they're not and work on them.

I told him this twice in his last thread. And to go trick on the grass.

In all seriousness, I couldn't stand tricking on grass at first, because I was like "I can't jump! What the fuck I'm gay!" But then I learned something really, really important. I learned that if I posted enough complaints about grass on the TT messages boards, it would magically make me able to jump more. Pretty soon, after posting "zomg grass suxx" for the 35th time, I was able to do a 48-inch vertical jump on grass with lead boots on. For all your metric-users, that's like... uh... you know what? Just the conversion website. It's the handiest piece of crap in the world and it helped me to be able to accurately convert dollars into pounds.

dude........
im not tricking very good, and not for long time, but thats not a good tornado or 540
stop running like a fucking bunny and start jumping like it
dont force yourself to land the 540, land the tornado first
and im training on grass, its harder then mats, i tryed B-Kick on my TKD class mats after i tryed on my grass and it was awsome, so i train on grass, it makes you jump better cose you got to try harder

try training on Ashdod`s sea sand, i did, FUKCING HARD!!!
