The head should not go back at all in any back tuck, whip, handspring layout etc at any time for any reason. This is is an ideal world. Most people will let their head go back a bit which isn't ideal as it can often negate the set or make it harder to set. Arms go up next to the ears.

If executed from standing:

- The arms should go straight up and back [just a little bit] as your head leans back [while you're
- jumping, but just before you leave the ground]. So when you begin to execute the "flash",
- your arms should be pointing kinda upwards. This way, you can get the "whip" of a whipback,
- while getting the height of a backtuck. This is more of a kick.

If executed from a RO:

- The arms should go all the way back with the head...the idea is to flip over; but "float" that
- bitch as much as possible. Juji has a "textbook" RO > Flash Kick. This one is more of a flip.
