So I got my Doublelegs after a couple gym sessions working on them. The progression was fairly quick and most of my progress was made during the second session.
here is the footage:

Any Suggestions/Tips are much appreciated. I think I'm doing them fairly well. The only things I think I need to work on is keeping the legs together (which I did once or twice) and maybe more height.

dont pop it! you could get higher if you lessened the pop and increased the torque.

I recently learned these too.. And I know I'm no expert on the move.. But what I do works well, and they are really easy for me now.
Basically from what I can tell, you could be using your arms / upperbody alot more, like, it looks like your focusing on the 'flip' part of the move too much.. Don't consciously think about getting sideways, think about throwing your shoulders and upperbody really hard in the direction of your spin, and your legs will be almost automatic..
Another thing I should point out, what helps me is if you take a few really quick steps and then quickly QUICKLY pounce at the ground (not a punch, you pounce at the ground really low and quick) you should get about 2 inches off the ground and as soon as you land back on JUMP STRAIGHT AWAY AND TORQUE.. The problem I had was that I would land back on the ground then take too long to jump and spin slow.. Think about going really fast, even though the move looks floaty, you're gonna want to do it in a fast motion.
I hope this made sense, because I didn't proof read it, haha.

Yeah... unfortunately Matness, your post confused me just a bit...
Ok so you want me to jump less high and torque more? And get less height? I don't understand how that will help my doubleleg... unless you're talking about if I want to combo it into something else.
I fail to see how more torque = more height. Wouldn't I just overspin and land on my ass or head if I torque more!?
About the "pop-whatever," that was just for fun... It's not something I'm actually trying to work on (yet). The only reason I tried it is cause I saw Sesh doing a double leg pop 1080 or something like that so I was seeing what that was like.
I appreciate the suggestions, but I need a bit of clarification on where to apply them and for what cause.

Haha, I don't mean jump less...
You know when you run up and your initial jump to get the bounce (punch) before you do the actual jump?
Shorten that and do it really fast, and don't impact on the ground so much, just skim it with a nice fast hop.

I live in Australia.. And here it's been dry and sunny every day and about 82 degrees.. (Fahrenheit)
Around Christmas it gets to around 108 or so.
Enjoy your wet grass, I just finished going through the wet grass treatment, and now I am a happy panda.

Shifty, the song I used was the Intro to As I Lay Dying's newest album, An Ocean Between Us.
And Matness I see what you mean I think. Basically I have to reduce the pop so that I don't do a full on jump but just a short and sweet little hop just before the double leg? In that case I think I understand and I'll try to modify it this thursday when I go back to the gym.
On another note, What are some Double Leg variations or combos I can work on, because It won't be long before I have these down so I'm wondering how I can sex it up a little...

My 360 crescents are decent, I think. I'll post a video later if I remember so you can judge for yourself. I read that it can help for this move and it can to an extent. Honestly all I did was try it on a crash mat. The first few tries I didn't care about landing, I was just seeing if I could torque myself in the right way to get the proper motion (as seen in the first 2 clips). After I reviewed the footage to make sure I'm at leat rotating the right way. Then I tried doing it without putting my hands down - then with more power. It honestly took me more or less one session to get it down. If you ahve access to mats just throw yourself into them and try to get the right rotation, then work on it from there...
