Hmm, the aerial..

...damn, it ain't that hard.

From what *I* got out of my workout today, I inverted a b-kick and ALMOST got an aerial. Cool, almost had it. Then, I applied the Juji method and landed on my ass. It was utter beauty, just... just beautiful...I looked like an amateur falling on his ass. It was awesome.

But what did I learn from it? One CAN be taught! And I fiddled with a b-kick and discovered summit new about myself. And trying out the aerial will be a LOT easier from now on, 'cause now I have a familiar base to work from.

Heh, kinda reminds me of what Sesshumaru said in the Tricking Bible... ^^

Just thought I'd share two sense. ^^

If you do your aerials from a b-kick setup, you're a faggot in my book.

Not really closed :worry: Gratz about that, but dont say u did the aerial inverting a b-kick cause thats just imposible... Aerial just need a tuck to be the less similar trick of a Bkick in the world

I was truly embarrassed to read this thread. I was expecting a nice story, but saw another person call a butterfly kick an aerial. An inverted bkick isn't an aerial, it's just an inverted bkick, which CAN look nice in some combos, but look crap if not totally inverted.

Ok now down to the subject in hand. An aerial is easier than an inverted bkick, physics states. Once the technique is down, they're effortless.

*sigh* so speak the guys who CAN do them. Easier said than done; that aerial's a *bitch*. That and the kip-up. The Backflip is just... no. Not yet.

really, inverting a b-kick will give you nothing but heartache.
go with the set up, then when youve gotten good with it, you can fool around with nice b-kicks.
please please PLEASE dont check aerial off your list of tricks to get because you can do it as a butterfly move.
good luck, train hard.

My friend did so many b-kicks he accidently got an aerial. So it can happen... BUT its much easier to just get an aerial, seriously, there bloody easy!
