Hello everyone.

Lets cut to the chase. As of yet there are no confirmed gatherings in the UK for the near future. I'm calling out to any trickster in the UK that can.

Can being the ability to host a gathering of at least 15 people.
Main Requirements:
A place to stay
The ability for there to be a gym session
reasonably good rail linksif you are new to the tricking scene and don't feel part of the 'Crowd' as it were then this is silly. Everyone is cool and people aren't judged on their tricking ability. This would be a perfect opportunity to do something awesome for the tricking community and make a lot of cool friends in the process.

I have organised several successful gatherings in the past and will help you get interest and give you guidance on the sort of things you will need to have prepared.

edit: it usualy makes sence to have gatherings on a weekend. friday - monday is your best bets however friday evening - sunday evening also works well.

edit: obviously you would be in full control of the invite list.

On a similar note, once i've moved in i'l make an assessment on how suitable the house is for hosting. I'm thinking about more of an Easter gathering rather than Summer as i have a lot going on then.

This will be invite only, BUT i'll probably be ok with up to about 6-8 people this includes Arashi which will either be 2 or 3 people already.

I'd much rather have everyone over but i really wont have the space (people will most likely be camping in my back yard), we're moving into a Bungalow so yeah haha :)

Nothing's confirmed yet but the main plan is that Arashi will be getting the flight to the cheapest airport in the UK and i'm going to pick them up and take them back to Cottingham (East Yorkshire) where i'll be living, then it's only a 45min-1hr drive to Newcastle where the ferry takes us across (i'll probably be taking my car over too).

I have an idea for the next southcoast gathering which i have yet to clear with the owner of the venue, so i wont go into detail here yet some of the portsmouth locals know what it is.
if it were to go ahead any attendees would have to go outside to smoke as the whole building is threaded with stupidly sensitive fire alarms linked to the local fire station...

but if it did go through ok, there would be enough room for everyone to sleep, and it would be a 2-3 minute walk away from the soon to be opened portsmouth gym

It is, but say if we were to come up with a "small" list of who would like to come to any gathering like this (people we've met loads), there'd be at least 30 people asking.

im in a new place now man! its loooooads better than my old house, that was fucking awful.

Now i have a proper house, with proper walls separating the rooms! woo...

i think 15 people would be pushing it though. 10 would probably be max capacity to be honest. When we have people round for poker (8 man table + non-playing dealer) its pretty rammed in one of the rooms, you couldnt sleep like that.

The only thing i'd consider 'inner circle' is people who talk to each other early on about organizing gatherings rather than the people who frequent gatherings (simon being in neither of the 2 >_<)

So in a way i'd consider Shengoikee inner circle as he's one of the 1st i think of if someone were to say 'make a short list of people to come' but on the other hand i wouldn't consider him 'inner circle' as i don't think he's had too much to do with organizing (lol sorry for the 3rd person stuff and sorry if i'm completely wrong :agony:)

hay all i have been working over an idea in my head for a gathering in summer.

i am thinking about hosting a summer gathering in like june time when i finished uni.

Space might not be problem as i live across the road from a big hall that i might be able to rent, so could have 100 ppl easy....also the hall has a big car park fit like 20-30 cars on. (this is if i can rent it.) good thing about the hall if we would not have to worry about my house : ) just worry about next door. the one this is i dont know whether we could stay in it over night.......

i live down the road from a park with a not very used golf course as well that is public, that we always trick on that is ace in summer, massive amounts of grass.

as i live near birmingham, there are 2-3 gyms we could go to. brum gym, derby gym, and if we had enough cars another one.

just wondering about interest???
