Your legs need to bend in order to jump.

...bent? You mean I need to crouch? But wouldn't that destroy my jump?

What the nigg ahaha.
Wait so, when you do a vertical jump. Say, you want to touch the rim on the basketball hoop. What, do you just stand there and try to force yourself up?
HECK NO SUN GET THAT NIGGASFOOD OUT OF HERE.
Obviously you bend your legs and dip down so you can then extend the major muscles of your legs and hips and propel yourself upwards.
One common thing many new people don't realize is that this principle applies to just about every trick ever in the history of God. Why would it change just for a trick? It doesn't! To go UP on any trick, you must do what you do for any sort of vertical leap: bend the legs so you can extend off them with your own maximum amount of power.

I dunno i've never touched the rim.
Okay, I get what you're saying. Iight, gotcha.
So, crouch... spin 360, b-kick, b-twist, *aerial*, feilong, backflip (of course)... alright.
Alright, so I can get the 360. The Aerial has just the wierdest physics I've felt. Every time I try, i put my hands down because my LEGS hang. I know, I need to KICK and really drive that sucker over and down. Every says "oh it's easy", but I say "All is hard until you give it the proper oomph it needs".
So, CROUCH. Crouch, crouch...
The spin is initiated by your shoulders/upper body twisting as you jump, then your lower body has to catch up to whatever position your upper body is in.

Remember to always follow crouch with the opposite of crouch: lift. Otherwise the crouch is meaningless.
^Yet another principle many people overlook.
The crouch mostly just has to happen in the legs. Don't get into a habit of crouching your upper body or chest but not bending your leg. A crouch of the chest (if you even need to) should always be complimented with a crouch of the leg.
Man the word crouch sounds so funny haha, I prefer dip or dig or bend or something. Crouch just sounds really weird haha.
