Is it unheard of to have one leg more flexible than the other? I stretch them both equally with the same amount of reps and time but my left leg always seems more flexible than my right. Especially when doing axe and crescant kicks. Is this anything to do with prefered fighting stance (right foot forward)?

Your body is not perfectly symmetrical. This is normal. It's got nothing to do with your stance.

That or you have leg cancer.

Well i stretch both legs but the right foot is more flexible then my left foot special when i do axe kicks yes dunno but i am right legged. I think this depends, if u are right legged or left legged.

Same here actually. My Right leg is far more flexible than my left. I try to stretch them equally but I can never go as far with my left leg...

This only seems to apply for static flexibility though because when I throw kicks I don't notice any difference...

Have you ever injured the muscle of the less flexible leg? I tore my left hamstring twice, both incredible tears. Ever since then there is a pretty big difference.

Flexibility is joint specific. Flexibility is affected by one's everyday activities. One doesn’t perform all everyday activities symmetrically.

And as short gorilla said, one's body isn't anatomically symmetrical.

About 2 or 3 years ago I badly tore the ligaments in my right leg. I couldnt walk for about a month, and then about half a year after that I couldn't do p.e at school.
So I guess i should keep that in mind. In fact I only remembered it thanks to Cyrus's comment. Is it anything to be careful about?

My left leg is slightly more flexible & I've had an operation on my left interior soleus.

I tore my hamstrings on my RIGHT leg over a year ago and it's still recovering. I can't do anything extreme unless I'm fully warmed up because it. I also had a minor tear on my left but nowhere near as serious, yet my right leg remains more flexible. Both were hamstring tears.

That happened to me too. I stopped doing a stretch that i later found out stretched my quadriceps and my legs got stronger and more stiff, especially my right. One day i kicked my left leg real high up, and i just fucked my right quadriceps up. This happened half a year ago and its still recovering. I have to do shitloads of quadriceps stretches.

I suggest we adopt a new policy to not tear shit anymore.

I'll start.

My right upper ab is larger than the right one. Everybody has at least a couple of un symmetrical muscles in their body. Sometimes even bones.

i destroyed and almost got my left leg amputated.
but after training and joining crosscountry along with tracknfield, its gotten much stronger.
my left is slightly more flexible than my right, but my right foot is far more flexible than my left.

i guess its because of my retarded semi-ambidextriousness :D
