I've been doing hardcore sidesplits for the last couple days and my groin area muscles are hurting really bad now as if their sore like I lifted weights. I cant go down as far as I did the day before. What the hell? lol.. anybody else have this problem?

Yes, and all u need is a very uncommon thing called rest. I trained basketball for 4 hours this tuesday and i can even jump decently. So just rest lol

Well you are not suppose to be sore after a sidesplit attempt except if you are using isometric.
Anyway, Just rest for now.

Don't stretch "hardcore". Stretching shouldn't involve feelings of strain, or delayed onset muscle soreness. Rest up until you don't have the soreness anymore, then you can stretch again - making sure not to go too hard.
Avoid pain in any training basically.

Well i have this problem too sinse i increased the isometrics intensity but i am afraid if i rest not to lose flexibility.

U probably wont since u already have great splits...For 1 day of rest nothing will happen I think only once a week is needed to mantain a decent split

Isometric would make you MORE sore, but even normally, you can't avoid experiencing exhausting tension in the muscles.
