View Full Version : New Tutorials on the way:

Less than Dan
Dec-19-07, 12:29 PM
I have been given a few assignments by certain people, and I feel that my personal takes on each of these concepts/moves could really help out many people. So, in the next few days, I'm going to be working on these tutorials.

- Techniques for improving aerial awareness for Openxeyedxbeast. Aerial awareness is one of the most important concepts in all of tricking, martial arts, gymnastics, etc etc. In fact, proper aerial awareness makes some moves actually possible.

- The b-twist for Joshua. I know, I'm late with it, and I know, not another b-twist tutorial, right? Well, in this case, I'm not going to explain HOW to do it, but I'm going to explain the little technical issues people can tweak in order to achieve the look and feel they want from their b-twist. I want to help you make the b-twist you have the b-twist you want.

- The one minute windmill, an idea that I recently discovered through tinkering with the bboy power move. Through experimenting with the move itself, I have managed to simplify the move not into the traditional "pull, swing , collapse" that all tutorials out there tell you to do. Learning your first windmill is about learning the motion of the first rotation, and I have found a way to break that rotation down so ANYONE could be doing a windmill tonight. As well, I will break down the rotation into terms a tricker can understand, making references to 540's, crescents, axes, and hooks.

Well, until then. Anyone interested in these?

Haha! I don't follow the rules! I make my own rules! Then I don't even follow those!

Seriously though, I'm not pulling a 'TKDAndy" out of my butt, I'm not just saying this to say it. This is going to be done in the immediate future.

Skilzat, your windmill tutorial is the best on the internet. I'm going to simplify the first rotation and moving into that rotation, because that is where people who are first learning it struggle for a long time. AND I WON'T STEAL YER TIPS, I PROMISE>

Lock this thread, if you wish. Just know that I WILL RIDE INTO THE SUNSET AND STRIKE YET AGAIN WAHAHAHAHAH

a windmill tutorial would be cool, mine look a little sloppy.

also, dan do you still have your old c720twist tutorial somewhere? i've been learning c720twists lately and i can almost land them (1 hand touches the ground), but when i watch my attempts i keep getting more diagonal. any tips on getting that horizontalness? :pirate:

Sounds interesting! Im curious about the aerial awareness one. Trampoline teaches you to know where to are in the air, and what end of you is coming down to the ground first if you get disoriented lol.
