I've got a problem with my left leg basically, between my knee and my hip running down the inside of my thigh is a tendon or muscle which is causing me pain when i do front lift stetches, i keep leaving it day after day to heal and just do the right leg stretches instead, but each day i come to stretch the left leg again,it's still a little painful. Anyone had similar experiences and what did you guys do? I'm rather eager to get stretching that leg again because i don't want to lose any flexibility in it, and it would suck to have 1 leg much more flexible than the other as well :P.

That stuff can take a long time to heal. You start letting it heal and you misjudge your progress, then you re-injure it when you try to use it. Last time I strained a muscle it took at least a month to heal properly because I'm so active and busy. Just take it easy and have patience, dude. Stick to gentle, relaxed stretching for now.

How come it takes you a month to heal a strain? Is it very serious or sth?

Besides, both of my knees are mildly sprained, I can't do the standing quad stretch right now..

It took me a month because it was in a part of my leg that is used all the time and I live a very active lifestyle, meaning it never had enough time to rest and repair.
