Your top samplers of 2007?

2007 was an insane year for tricking with so much going on and people around the world were taking tricking to a whole new level. So I'm interested to know what were the highlight samplers of the past year for you. I'll edit my choices into this post once I've thought it over :tongue:

NYGathering 2007 that never existed!

I'll list a few and give some extra textmeat to tell why I like them so much :smile:

1. Jryst - Juji's samplers were the first tricking samplers I've ever seen and it's the reason why tricking appealed to me so much. The style, the music, everything was excellent. I've anticipated juji's follow-up to the amazing Thousand (like everyone else), and Jryst delivered everything I hoped for. The change in editting style was fresh and badass. The tricks were clean and the combo's technical and well excecuted. Juji was a beast. Fucking awesome achievements, well worth the long wait. Juji is like one of those metal bands that deliver amazing albums, but only release one like every 3-4 years. It makes it extra special: it's all on grass too! And that mountain scene with the snow falling is the most epic scene in a tricking sampler ever.

2. Act III Welcome Home - The entire project was amazing, but the last 'Act' took the cake. This is probably the most epic sampler I've seen. Awesome tempo and nice build up in the tricks: you can see how much heart has gone into this. Throughout the whole 6 minutes and 16 seconds I didn't get bored once, and that's really something. The awesome feel of the sampler kept me glued to the screen.

3. Rising Air - This year I found a fellow metal trickster in my country via youtube thanks to Raven. The second I saw this sampler I was like: 'awesome, more people with a similiar style!'. In the end these are the kind of samplers that motivate me the most. Rising Air was the first I saw of him and that's why it's extra special. Dyko ownz :)

4. Jan's Sampler 1 - Haha yes this was great. I anticipated Jan's very first 'real' sampler very much. Jan is an awesome trickster with a great style and this sampler was an awesome 'first one'.

5. Chlorophyllic Hell - Oat rocks, yet another sampler I was looking forward to. Good stuff

6. Kalman's 2nd Bilang sampler - Wow man, the sheer awesomeness and aggressiveness of the tricks blew me away.

7. Bubba's latest sampler - Holy hell, how can a man kick so much ass? Bubba has the best kicks ever.

Those were 7 that popped into my mind, hopefully I didn't forget too much :tongue:

edit: Aaaah I knew I would forget something. Haime's last sampler is fucking teriffic as well.
