I think it was awesome. Swinging through a double cork is probably always very difficult, even for a tricker like Anis. There might be people that come near to him when it comes to the level of difficulty of the tricks (like Teddy who also did a double cork-cork-gainer) but you just cannot match his style.

I'd also say he is one of the best tricksters in the world. I mean, even if someone can overcome him at the variety of tricks, his tricking style is still top1. He's perfomance is, most enjoyable to watch (folllowed by sessh, danny, doeni,...). Though this is only my opinion, everyone has different taste.

p.s.: I watched this sampler here at school, along with 4 nontricking schoolmates and they were amazed, not to say they almost shitted in their pants haha :tongue:

I don't think I agree unless you have seen Danny Graham footage that I have not. Anis landed the cali roll, Danny Graham has no video footage and only claims it, his attempts however look quite unclean. And there is no way that Danny Graham can do such clean double corks, let alone combo them. I also saw Danny Graham once do things like cheat9's, the hight of the kick was very, very low. Most of the kicks that anis does are super clean. Also Anis is a better flipper (I believe) and he can do lots of sick flips like the triple full. I haven't seen Danny do any of them. But again, maybe you saw footage that I didn't see... But don't get me wrong, Danny is still an awesome tricker who can bust some sick stuff, but I still don't think that he is as good as Anis.

I don't really know the guy but he does have a lot of skill and power. I'm definitely a fan of his tricks(I love his raiz s/ts). I wasnt trying to be negative or anything just was saying his c9 isnt quite the best. His raiz s/ts are some of the best tho imo.

man i got nothin but love for both anis and danny g and really, steve terada for that matter, i wish people would quit tryin to pick apart everything they do lookin for some kind of flaw to bitch about. the bottom line is that these guys are amazing, they can do nearly every trick in the book and have been the authors of a good many of the chapters in said book. ugh, it's so annoying. i mean, look for further than the last combo in this video, i never thought i'd say it, but anis is under-estimated these days... he's been swingin that double cork for a while now and people forget. likewise with danny graham, he has brought in sooooo many stylized tricks since his return, like surfman, rocketboi, laziiboy, etc. and the terada one is obvious, everyone loves to hate on that dude, he just changed his style is all, he's still as good as he ever was.

you have to understand that this was the last leg of the loopkicks european tour, he's been having sessions for the past few weeks and has been going absolutely crazy in every single one.

The day after this he had to fly to germany to compete in the big trick, so its pretty understandable if he didnt want to go flat out for the entire session.

I was at the gathering in the video, and if you actually saw him live, you wouldnt be even thinking he was having an 'off day'

yeah this one is indeed very good, but the once he did in loopkicks camp 2006 (just search for the sampler...) are quite bad... But of course sometimes trickers can do moves worse than normal...

On realistic terms. We could say triple corks, triple b twists, triple backs and whatever. But anis is at suchhhhh a high level, trying to progress at that level I mean...it must be a really slow process trying to get better because even if you did get a bit better it's not like many people would notice because of how bloody good he is anyway.
