So I've been working on the aerial for months now. And the only progress I made is that I can barely do a one handed cartwheel on both hands. Now I think the problem is that I stop rotating at the top of my spin. (When my heads at the ground and legs are pointed at the ceiling.) So I put my hands down because I don't want to go SPLAT! And I'm u-shaping the left arm inwards, and I'm lifting up my right leg as much as possible. But I still seem to decelerate. Any tips?

If you can barely do one hand cartwheels you should definitely drill those a lot until they are fast and smooth.

work on your flexibility.. you can't generate enough momentum without a decent amount of flexibility also drill nice slow good techniqued cartwheels

I don't see how you could stop rotating in a cartwheel (if that's what you meant). Are you walking into it?
If you mean that you stop rotating in the aerial, it might be because of your arms (could be the same for the cartwheel I guess). Your shoulders might be stifling the rotation. Watch Juji's tutorial and look at what he does with his left arm. That helps the left shoulder round, and lets the rest of the body move properly.
You can also use this arm technique in your one handed cartwheels when you plant the left hand. Throw the right arm out like Juji does. The move should feel sort of open and you should get a lot of rotation on the vertical axis (you'll end up facing the opposite way).
Hope that helps. Good luck.

You know a front kick normally... Try doing that and kick the highest target you can (If you kick it hard enough you might even rip your non-kicking leg of the ground falling on your ass). That's the move you do when landing an aerial, the only difference is you do it upside down.
In order to be able to do that you have to turn your upper body in the aerial. I think that's the main problem of stalling in mid air and falling down like a sack of sand. Juji says the same thing in his tuts.
Just look at a lot of videos and start comparing your own technique to them and drill the cartwheel, one handed cartwheels.

Speed is about your back leg. kick your back leg harder.

Actually, stopping rotating in a cartwheel is common. Especially with no hands. Make sure you are confident and you don't just leave the hard work for the takeoff, the landing and the work mid air requires just as much effort, but done correctly it's effortless. All about angles and confidence.
If you've already tried aerials it should feel totally different to a cartwheel, they look similar but the technique is different.
Jump up UPP, and lean outwards.
If you don't keep your body rigid you will flop, like most flips.
