I've been drilling my roundoff and my backsault lately, but I'm not sure if I'm ready to combine the two. I have no access to a gymnastics gym or crashmats, so any help regarding the best way to combine them would be great, be it the use of a spotter, just balls, or maybe digging a sandpit? Technical pointers on the two moves would be great aswell:smile:

For the back flip mostly, you need to gain fuller extension upwards before tucking in. I can see now you're jumping up for an instantly but tucking before you truly jump off the ground. Fully extend the jump! And pull your arms waaay up so they pull your shoulders up and back.

Work on the round off more. Reach out and around with that 2nd hand so your back is facing the way you came from. The straighter the round off the easier the sault is going to be. And like skilzat said, reach up and get full extension of that jump before tucking.
