Haha that's what I do.
Worst case scenario is you might just wanna use a regular Raiz.
Best case scenario is takeoff with your chest closer to the ground, and be sure to reach backwards with the ground. It's like a back handspring, in which you must actually lean back, because instead of staying in the air, you want to touch the ground.

do you feel like you are reaching for the ground put you dont reach it until your other leg hits? if so, get low and don't jump up jump across, that might be the problem.

i'm thinking of hella arching my back and reaching back for the ground but just as my hand hits the ground so does my left foot. Also if i jump more across wouldnt i be cheating the raiz...lol i ask cuz i worked really hard on having a pretty decent raiz cuz they originally came across and were low...i would only be able to do a swingthrough cork..the old way of doing it(not saying i swing through or cork, just that if i did..that would be the only move i could do from that style of a raiz). i just dont wanna develop the habit of going across and having a low raiz again. im proud of my high arching raiz.

Well practicing TDraiz negatively affects your raiz and vice versa
TDraiz you want to clear distance and be low, while raiz you want to clear less distance and be higher. So working on one of them will probably negatively affect the other until your body recognizes a distinct difference between the two motions.
edit: I dont really get what you're saying about cheating a raiz and an oldschool cork, by across i mean clearing distance as opposed to up(if that clears up anything)

well if you did a high raiz how would you reach the ground?

start backwards
if your normal raiz in inverted, you should have no problem doing tdraiz
after u invert u should see the ground before you land. practice tapping the ground with your hand. adjust your takeoff so that you can land with more support on that arm rather than just tapping it.
one thing tho, if you are landing on your elbows, i am willing to bet you are not inverting the tdraiz and going over to the side.

sounds like a good idea...no elbows on the ground..just the palm of my hand.
