Do you mean Trickers Aerial and Gymnast Aerial?

Trickers is an inverted B-kick (side to side)
Gymnast is a Round-off without hands!

Well it isn't a b-kick, is it? 'cause your feet go over your head unlike a b-kick.

That's what the "inverted" refers to.

Go forwards. Do your cartwheels going forwards. Minimize or remove any whipping or slinging motion - the power comes from jumping of your front leg, throwing the back leg behind you (heel driving into the sky), and pulling behind you with the lead arm (left probably).

Watch Juji's tutorial on the main site, he deals with the sideways thing.

Practice cartwheel on one hand and later on put the hand when you are half rotated (head to the ground), when you think you are done try aerial.

no dont practice cartwheels, yet. learn cartwheel then drill your round offs.

it's correct to drill cartwheels if you have the proper technique. so if you do your cartwheels side to side you'll do a side to side aerial. learn to do them like a roundoff first, you need to learn how to twist your hips as you start coming over. once you get that, "gymnist" aerial will come easily...of course will practice.

Err, gymnast aerial is not a round off without hands... its a cartwheel without hands.

exactly the hip twisting aerial is tricking aerial theres a tutorial with both examples but you can learn the gymnast aerial easily after the tricking one...
