First I need advice on my 540s. I think my tornado is ok, and normally my cheat 720 is good too. The grass is wet in this video, so there's less height on everything, but the techniques pretty much what it usually is.
I used to be able to do and combo these well, but they were the lay down kind, and I stopped doing them after I figured out that I wouldn't be able to do other kicks like that. So the kick looks like crap and I can't land right.
Second are pop 720s. I'm not approaching with any speed in this video, again because the ground is wet and muddy, but I'm not a whole lot good at blocking on pop setups, so advice would be appreciated. The main thing I think is how to spin well and when to throw out the kick.

Thanks in advance for any tips.

For 540, bring your hand up high, and jump all the way with your toes.

540: dun be afraid to get your knee up before your foot. ^^ In fact, bringing the knee up first is even better, especially when you kick at the end (it gives you more momentum).
The first c720 (>?540 Hook) was nice. I have never done it myself so I can't say none.
One thing: style. Yeah it's the beginning, and I myself am trynna get some style. The thing I'm trynna get at is, is try to have style.
you know, ACTUALLY, get your kicks down pat till they're done in your sleep, and then work on style. You dun wanna polish a turd. ^_~
keep kicking!

On your pop7, you wanna' go UP, spot your target, then wrap and kick. Like a 720 double without the first kick.

Yes! Its a fact that you trick better without shoes! even tho that dont weight anything its still an extra inch you have to spin/jump/twist with, which means alot in this case.
With kicks shoes do add quite a bit of weight depending on the shoe. Also I tend to get more jump height without shoes because of grip or something I cannot explain.

shoes just cramp your feet, dammit. I noticed at least an inch difference with my shoes off from before with them on. You also get more control of your feet with the shoe's off.
Tho if you're in North Carolina like right now, you may lose feeling in your feet. XD

Haha, I don't find tricks much harder to do, wearing my TKD shoes. I even did my best c720 in my shoes, it was really massive. But that was before I lost it haha.

haha why has Ajstyles changed his age from 13 to 18??
when he first joined he told everyone he was 13... does he think that people might listen to him because he's older?

Yeah, I know everything's easier without shoes, but the ground was muddy. Thanks for the advice.
Should i throw the kicking leg straight or bent when i start c720? And if i want to hook kick, do i have to lean back like scalco or be straight?

When you're learning it, you shouldn't really be leaning back (while spinning), that could fuck ya' up . And just experiment with both takeoffs. Only few people like to do the c720 with a straight leg while taking off, personally I like to have it bent as many others. I prefer the straight method for the laydown c720 though.
