Double twist tips please

yo gys, i guess is time for joining into the double twist universe, so i need some tips before i atempt any of them.
i can do buterfly twist aerial tiwst cheat 720 twist, and recently a +- corkscrew.
i need to know wish you guys think is more easy so i can have an principle of yours and start moving at them.

i would stronlgy suggest you learn to hyper those moves and maybe hyperhook them aswell before attempting doubles. what comes more easy is different from one person to another, but if you only have those locations that i've seen from your vids i would suggest double btwist first, cus then you don't get so high up in the air, and the crash will be smaller :P

As far as I know, its neccesary to be able to do a decent hyperhook before doubletwist.. Watch Dave C tutorial on Btwist and variations:good:

give it a go..if it's not clicking and you arent getting anywhere close then you need to learn howto hypertwist at the very least

um get a high single of anything.. and well. wait till your at your peak before u start the twist? lolol. i usually do a little rotation, then rip the rest when im at my peak.

I can't double btwist (or at least I haven't, yet), but I can double full/cw full, and double cork. What I've learned from doing this is that thinking of any double move as two spins is just gonna screw you up. You don't want to catch yourself counting rotations in the air.

I try to think of a double as one long spin. It may sound stupid to some, but it helps.

Yeah... timing is essential. And height... and torque. What do you want? It's just another trick.

Then you learn a fulltwist at the second half of a layout, then you must got a fulltwist BEFORE you reach the second half of layout (sort of). And THEN you may land a descent doubletwist.

I dunno if this works but, it's something imma try soon for 2xtwists.
After you learn to hypertwist/hyperhook, think about gyroing it but, with out the kick.

Yes, I just got confused about the names, but double twist in gymnastics mean what I described, so I don't think it's a reason to laugh or something. Yea, I still don't have many tricking moves, but I just trying to help, got confused and then was blamed in not acceptable treatment.

I do... alot of them in that. Those are 720 or "double" butterfly twists.... aka double twist.

we're talking about double btwist. you know like a regular btwist, but instead of a 360 degrees rotation you rotate 720 degrees lolz.

i can do a clean hyperswipe man, and it was my first time i ever tried go for double aerial twist so, its kinda wheird.
i'm watching that from the camera right now, to study where i fail.
and i notice, when it starts the second twist the body's positions also change, that makes me open the arms and break the twist completly, i hope you could help me, i need to get a bit more of air speed and don't get surprised anymore, because if i clould keep my arms wraped, i would land a double aerial twist today but on a very unconfortable position.

I can't double twist, but I can give you advice that I've seen before when people have asked about this. The closest thing to a double b-twist is really a hyperhook. You wanna get them really good before you get the double twist. :smile: Good luck!
