Backflip help... just a tad

Sorry to write this because twenty thousand have probably asked this, but I need to get this trick down. I have been pestering my friend to spot me (juji's tutorial says to) but he is being a total butt and keeps putting it off (he is the only friend I have that has ANY tricking expirience)... I want to get it down for a blog im writting (to keep me inspired and into tricking) So, I dont have a spotter and I live in a small town without a gym... Any suggestions guys? (its mostly a matter of balls... I get out there but i just cant do it...)

It's not necessary for your spotter to have any tricking experience, just grab anyone you can trust, teach them how to spot you. If you can't find someone you trust just ask anybody. Then if you don't have a spotter just go out there and try, there are endless threads about this. Of course, study the technique very well beforehand, know what you have to do.

If you're just too scared, start learning other tricks, and leave the backflip for when you have more confidence.
