pop 540 is just a pop540 lol. with pop swipes you get inverted. at least that's to my knowledge.

Because a sideswipe is just going into a flash kick from cheat setup.

I'd say that the mecahnics of a Pop Swipe [PS] are deeply tied to the mechanics of the move that it's trying to emulate, the Sideswipe [SS]. The PS is pretty much a SS performed from a "pop setup" [feet together, with toes facing outside the target; not to be confused with "backside"].

So if a Sideswipe is a Raiz Switch, it is also a "Cheat Gainer Switch". The "pop equivilancy" would be a Flash Kick.

Keep in mind...that since you're executing the Flash Kick from "pop", you have to turn towards the outside a little bit while leaning back into the "flash". While this happens, you should keep your back arched [just like how it would be in a Sideswipe before you kick]. This will "sell" the "Sideswipe concept", and help put the kick on target.

:juji: hmmm. It seems easy enough to learn on your own. I say a Side Flip might help or a Double Leg but yeah Idk this seems like one of the obscure Tricks that are not as hard as it looks. Ima Try it tonight.
