Hey guys, it's been a while since i've posted around here... so I thought i'd
share some of my training progress videos.

Back in September when I posted here my bodyweight was about 132 lbs and my lifts were:
Clean: around 200 lbs
Snatch: 133 lbs
Clean and jerk: 196 lbs
Rack jerk: 196 lbs
Back squat: around 250 lbs at most
Front squat: around 220 lbs at most

I've since increased a lot of these lifts while staying at the same weight:
Clean: 235 lbs (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v_OpgHgr8qw)
Snatch: 160 lbs (http://youtube.com/watch?v=-E_UZNVTkQw)
Clean and jerk: 210 lbs (no video yet)
Rack jerk: 210 lbs (no video yet)
Back squat: 270 lbs (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eLb8OUItCDM)
Front squat: around 240 lbs

I'm still a senior in high school :dead:, but that means weightlifting season will start soon. I'm planning on lifting in the 129 lbs weight class and my goal is to take the school record clean and jerk of 225 lbs... the clean so far has been easy, but we'll see if I can add on 15 more pounds to my jerk!

Well, thanks for taking the time to read this post... Later!

www.youtube.com/TheDivineNicholai has some more random videos on it and I try to update it whenever I hit a new bench mark.

Thanks for making me feel like a little girl again...

Those are some serious numbers you're pulling. I think I remember when you last posted. Looks like you have made significant progress since then.
Congrats mate.

You should stick around and post here more often.
(although your presence will probably further destroy my ego)

Awsome work. Have you considered moving up a weight class later, or do you like where you're at?

Thanks guys!

Haha, compleks, I'm flattered. I really respect you as a member of this site... you're just so useful!

Well mr. popular, right now the weight class I'm in is fine... it's my natural bodyweight. Once my season is over though and I'm out of school, I do want to experiment with weight changes. Right now, I'm not in the current shape I wished I was in... I've still got around 11-12% body fat, so I can only imagine that I'd weigh maybe 124 or 125 lbs with about 8%. I don't want to try to cut down to that though because I've never tried to have a quality weight cut, and since it's so close to my season and that sort of things takes a perfect diet and training, I don't want to risk a significant strength loss. After high school though, if I do compete, it would be governed by USA Weightlifting, so I would probably still compete in the 62 kg class (136 lbs) and in off season hopefully weigh around mid 140-150 (max) lbs. I'm still not sure yet, but this is my passion, so I'm sure I'll stick with it. :good:

Nice squatting depth. Not many can go that far down in a back squat and keep a lordosis.

Only a few men of the population does that. I think they're called 'weightlifters'.

I've seen weightlifters back squatting not that deep during training.

edit: not deleting the posting, but I rewatched the squat and on a second look it seems like common weightlifting depth. Oh well...

My post was a bit sarcastic, but it's still fairly correct. At the gyms I've been on, the only people I've seen squat past parallell are the ones from the hardcore gyms. That is either weightlifters or serious BBers (1/100 I'd say).

Holy crap man, those are some pretty sick numbers. I have almost 100lbs on your BW and I cant even do that (although I do have some fat ) Anyways, awesome work.
