Double twist tips please part 2 Video included

hey guys, as we where talking, i didn't go work today and spend a few hourd of the morning to warming up my body for the sunday, as i promisse here is my double aerial twist atempts and my cork eat shit.
any tips for a better double i would aprecieate.

You need a more powerful/explosive Atwist...you want to be able to Atwist, and have the spinning rotation of the Atwist finished before your feet point straight up.

You also need an Aerial that is so powerful, that you really don't have to "conciously" bring your feet down to land it.

Also...consider Hyperswipes.

firstly i'd like to thank you for bringing up a video for this gives us an insight, it doesnt quite look like you have the height for an aerial double twist quite yet, but as ive seen in your other moves, u know how to use your legs, one raiz caught my attention to prove this point, perhaps kicking up that back leg a little bit more and waiting until your at the least ----- before you go for the rotation.


clearly as shown in the video you are throwing your body towards the ground, that isnt going to help, its not really about a dip or anything, i usually would reffer to simon when i try this move, he sorta reaches up with his arms, not head first into the ground, something you should consider.

also what i did not mention, was the fact your giving up on your twist.. about 2/3s of the way through. you gotta hold it.

Why do you spin your arm around in a big circle when you set up to do Moonkicks and Corkscrews? Anyways You say your going for things that you know your body can do but your trying Snapu's on sand and bailing I know you might have the capabillity of doing a Snapu but eventually if you keep crashing like that its going to take its toll. The last one looked like a c720 twist attempt so for that (which something I can actually do) I will give what I can to help-


Essentially, The bringing of your back leg up really hard to get horizontal for a B-twist is applicable with the c720 twist. That knee that you drive up as you jump is what gets you horizontal. I approach the move as if I am doing a Tornado or 540 but I dont dip EXTREMELY low I just dip just abit and allow my knee to get me horizontal.

Thene on the start of the spin when you are facing the sky I chamber the knee that I jump off of and torqued and all you have to do from there is hold the twist tight and over rotate like Hypertwist and land.
If you land with your hands on the ground you got it you just need to drill it and develope more Aerial awareness (Aerial co-ordination as it is also known) and it it yours and soon folows is a sexy Snapu. What I used to work up to this move are laydown c7's and getting a strong Tornado actually helps when you utilize bringing that first knee up really hard and with that practice not only will hit get you more understanding on the c720 twist but it will help your 540's aswell. LessthanDan uses this approach in his c720 twist and has a good tutorials on google videos somewhere and somewhere he has posted a big long page on help for this move. Peace and good luck
