can you please give me some help with my 540 kicks.i have a vid to help.the clips where i wearing the lack shorts are attempts of the 540 kick.the clips where im wearing the green shorts and my drills of the 540 kick.i have a hard time getting height and chambering my non kick leg.also i have trouble whipping my kick leg over my non kick leg and my back is never straight.thanx.heres the vid:smile:

How are your standing crescents (or rounds)? How are your tornado kicks? They need to be at least shoulder height for this move. At least.

Anyway, throwing your arms up will help get your shoulders out of the way and should improve your posture. Height comes from throwing up the shoulders and the non-kicking leg at the same time.

Trick outdoors if you can too. Maybe it's not a problem for you but I'd feel pretty confined.

do you have a vid of your tornado kicks?
atm it looks more like hopping on your legs rather than a kick, try to kick someone's head off :good:

you're not using your hips at ALL. roll over your hips. easy way to land them. you dont even need to emphasize the kick if you setup properly and just roll over

Use your upper body for momentum. Just before you jump and kick, throw up your arms and non-kicking leg as high as you can. Really rip up the arms, and you will see results. Also, don't focus on really forcing the kick over, use your hips and everything else to get you around.
