ive been practicing cartwheels on my right side becuase im getting all my tricks on my right side.eberytime i do it i get the pan in my wrist and palms.coiuld it be the way im positioning my hands?

Do aerial cartwheels then lol. But seriously, apply the aerial technique to your cartwheels. Really jump with the leading leg and kick back hard with the back leg. Your cartwheels should rely on your legs alot more than your upperbody if you are going to start doing aerials.

I know that I used to get that pain last year. I found out that my body doesn't do as well in cold weather. Once the weather started to get warmer the pain was gone. I'm not sure where you live or what temp you live in now but that could be one reason.

Do what tricker_d said and try to get an aerial technique. If you do you can have less pressure on your wrist. :good:

Just stop practising if you feel any jarring in your wrists. Also incorporate aerial technique more as people have said.

actually i live i mass.and it is winter time haha.so that could be part of it.or i think im postioning wrong.

i always have trouble arching my back during a gumbi and it ends up being a normal cartwheel.
