due to people not liking to use e-z bars for bicep exercises, does this effect in any way using the e-z bar for skullcrushers? Also, i have to say that this is my favourite exercise, apart from deadlifts.

personally, i dont think it inhibits the ROM of the wrists so i think its fine. Your opinions?

yeh fine, i dont know about you but i cant pronate my wrists all the way when my elbows are fully flexed, so doing it with a straight bar would probably end in tears.

I use a straight bar for tricep extensions as well. Some people can feel their elbows from that though.

It's not the same deal as with supinated curls since you're pronating when doing skullcrushers, make sure you use full ROM though .

I feel it in my elbows when I'm using a regular bar. It kinda hurts on the joint.

I can't even do the EZ-bar version. haha

My arms are very long, so most extensions are pretty tough on my elbows. My tricep exercises are generally limited to: Close-grip bench, dips, cable pushdowns (light), and behind-the-head cable extensions (light)

The EZ bar will actually help to align the elbow joint properly for most people (during skull crushers that is).

Due to a packed gym, I had to resort to an EZ-bar during my latest tricep workouts. I realised that it didn't work as well, straight bar is the way to go for me.

This is a personal problem though, I'm sure the EZ-bar works great for some.

People don't like doing EZbar curls?
