All of a sudden, I'm starting to get knee problems from doing only body weight squats and lunges. I could do at least 50 of each before my knees started to get a little sore but now I can barely do one without them cracking and hurting. Why the fuck is this happening so fast when it never happened before?

Now is the time you should be seeking professional help.

Is the addition of those exercises the only change in your normal routine(of living) as of late?

Well I have been doing quite about of calf raises and one legged calf raises. I might be bending my knees when doing them so I'll have to keep track of everything I do that puts stress on the knees.

Stop training and see a professional like compleks said. You could give yourself permanent problems if you keep training on it.

Also, you mentioned that you could do 50 before your knees start to "get a little sore" - so I assume you do this regularly. Does this mean your knee joints are sore, or just the muscles? For a start, pain should generally be avoided, and pain in joints should always be avoided. Secondly, there's no need for a trickster to do such high reps (they're help endurance not strength/power), unless you are preparing your muscles for heavy weights or something.

I hope the knees get better.

Thanks. I'm resting for this week so hopefully the problem won't persist.
