Hi everyone

My name is Aaron. Apologies if this is posted in the wrong section.

I am 25 (a little old to start tricking but always wanted to do it)

I started martial arts in HK when I was 10. Been off it a few years and recently taking it on again hoping to increase speed, flexibility and agility.

Where can I learn in London???

I have searched and found posts about Talacre but not much info, is this a tricking class? or trickers gathering to train together? Who here goes to Talacre??

Ultimately I would like to find others in London and train with them.

Thanks in Advance.

Pm Alexx, he lives in London and knows about gyms ect. There are often small meets in london, i have been to a few as i dont live to far away and they are always good fun and a chance to meet new people.

Good luck .

yo man !
thanks for the pm, we'll be more than happy to trick with you, where abouts in London do you live? i'm aware of a few gyms about but, they're really strict about tricking in gyms nowadays.
As the weathers picking up we'll be tricking in parks and things a bit more soon. i'm going to be at hyde park this weekend, and we go and trick in primrose hill and regents park occasionally as well.

Thanks for the reply Alexx

I am not really sure about tricking outside. I have experience with different martial arts but I can't really do many flips, I think I might need a gym to help start me off. What do you think?

Anyways, would be great to meet others alike in London. How many others are there on this forum?

I also want to add - great forum, really what I needed. Tbh until last week I never heard of tricking, but I wanted to do those moves I saw on youtube, didn't think it would be so hard with my past training.

I couldn't find anything online really, but went to a couple of adult gymnastics classes to use the equipment.

Think I may have fear of falling, I kind of tense up when airbourne to brace the impact.

My advice man, is to train kicks/trick which don`t involve inverting outside away from gym, get as much as you can without flips.

Because when you`re not at gym and don`t want to be bailing flips, you`ll have lots of time to get other basics.

I'm not that bad.

I am quite flexible. I can do general martial arts kicks, I can cartwheel, butterfly kick, aerial (sometimes), back flick, front flick, round off.

Anything more advanced I get stiff, thats why training with others should really help.

Oh, and I live in Vauxhall central London.

When would you be in Kentish town gym Alexx? A little far but I will travel.

Alexx, did you go Hyde Park on the weekend? weather wasn't too bad.
I was quite busy this weekend to go anywhere.

Would you be at Talacre on Wednesday? I'll go check it out?

Del, Tolworth seems a little further, would you go Talacre?
