ok i made a post about this in the main thread by Chris but i expect it will get lost in the many posts.

Basically this is to all attending the loopkicks Cali gathering and are travelling from London Ariports. Well i was thinking it would be far easier if everyone just met at which ever london airport and caught the same flight out.
Good chance to meet up with you guys before the gathering as well :good:. So if anyone has already booked, if they could post up their flight details (if they so please) then others can get on the same flight. If no-one has yet, then if everyone who is going posts in this thread we can all arrange something so that we are on the same flight (where possible)

good idea man :good:

i tried to get the camp registered to an airline convention package thing where we could all receive discounts off flgiht costs when traveling to one place (http://www.staralliance.com/baseAction.do?language=), but you need like a minimum of 500 attendees :dead: maybe for a gathering in 2010 lol

but heres a cool thing you guys might wanna consider looking into...

"Question
What do I do if there are going to be more than 9 of us travelling together as a group?
Answer
Under air travel regulations, a group of more than 9 passengers travelling together is classed as a group. To obtain a group quote you must contact your local travel agent. They would in turn contact the British Airways office requesting a 'group rate' to check the price and availability of flight seats that you need. Although the fare may be different from that found on our website, you might find that the terms and conditions of booking a group through our Group Sales department may suit you better.
Please also note our online booking service is presently unable to book & quote for more than 9 passengers."- british airways

im not sure by how much, but they might be able to bring the costs down a bit. im sure there are more major european airlines that do this as well. worth looking into
