Hello everyone !

I'm saving up for a wide angle lens and at the moment I have 95 quid.

I'm thinking of getting this one:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Panasonic-Wide-conversion-lens-GS500/dp/B00009LHL5/ref=pd_sbs_ce_title_15

Or something similar.

My problem is that I have no idea what to get haha. I'm looking in the price range of about 100 - 150 pounds.

Can you get any wide angle lens and put it on your camcorder ? or are there certain lenses that go on certain camcorders.

This is my camcorder:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/NV-GS320-MiniDV-3CCD-Camcorder-EU/dp/B000N21S0G/ref=pd_sbs_ce_title_7

What wide angle lens could/should I get for it ?

So, I need a lot of information on this subject haha. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

what i did was get an adapter ring to make the lens width on my cam bigger, so it went from something like 33 mm to 53 mm, cost me 5 quid and let me use the new lens which my dad gave me for a 53mm lens.

Yeah. just find the thread size on your camcorder and the lense and make sure you can make it work.

haha, its okay

But basically, you just have to find some technical specifications and find the filter diameter on your lense. For yours it is 37mm (go here (http://http://www2.panasonic.com/consumer-electronics/shop/Cameras-Camcorders/Camcorders/MiniDV-Camcorders/model.PV-GS320.S_11002_7000000000000005702#tabsection) if youd like to see where I got that)

Then, when you're choosing your wide angle lense, make sure it is either the same thread size, OR that it has or you can get some adapter rings for it.

Good luck man!
