Hey guys I need some tips.
Whenever I try GM twist, I just do a wrap full. If I foce the kick through, I find that I cannot twist at all.
I would really appreciate some help from anyone that can do this move. I don't have a vid... but I don't really think one is needed in this case--just imagine me doing a cart-wrap full. :P
Thanks!

Oh shit I meant to post this in tips for tricks. Skilz or Jan or whichever mod sees this first could you move it over? Cheers.

NOT impossible! Haha. So GMT and wrapthru full are very different, for the following reasons:
1. wrap full is physically less spin
2. they are based off of different flip spectrum
3. there are 2 different GMTs
Quck tips:
-Start with cw +GMswipe, don't worry so much about kicking the one leg into the landing as finishing the flip as early as possible. When you go for GMT, try to stall the actual twisting part of the move until you are already well on your way into the flip.
-practice without carthweel, on the trampoline. A lot.
Good luck!

Thanks man.
I have cw - gms, aerial - gms, etc.
My problem is that when I delay the twist enough to kick through properly, I find that I have no twisting momentum (and when I don't, I only do wrap). I don't really understand how to generate a twist in it, if you see what I mean... It feels like I have no momentum to initiate it.
But yeah, I'll practice it on a tramp and see how it goes.

K, so when you start GMswipe & then try to twist, you only get some twist & crash? Or you get zero twist and land on your feet?

Is that a gms with a twist like an atwist?

Na, it has more in common with corks & fulls than with Atwists, but still a GMS with twist yes
SNAPUSWIPE IS A PREREQUISITE TO THIS TRICK IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME THAT'S OKAY.
lol I can't GMtwist but I should be able to!

Zero twist and land on feet.

So you reckon I should treat the twist like a snapu?

I see where you're going with that, but the fact is this move doesn't actually need the "swipe" across first. There's another version of it, I think Sessh is calling it the GMsnapu which DOES have it, but even there it's a form of flash full.

Zero twist and land on feet.
Interesting, PM me a clip of your tramp attempt and I will solve the problem.

Use your arms... That's what I say to you for pretty much any twisting flip so I'll use it here even though I haven't seen you try it.

yeah without the swipe is definitly easier.
I still had difficulty with the twisting in that.
but I found the trick was in being completely upside down first and then twist.
So get ur feet together when being upside down and then initiate the twist.

not really, i can do it. Its hard to land with your chest up and controlled but the motion is really easy when you get the feel down. but getting it down is hard as balls though.
