Dude if you dont have the guts to trick, you will never be a tricker.
Guts is the key in tricking.
Lol, everyone falls.
When you fall you get up and try again.
If you injured, you rest and come back.
If you die, you die.

ye man of course some stuff is kind of scary but thats why you take the steps that you need. If you can go to a gym, it'll help for learnin stuff that your too scared to learn out on the grass but its really just confidence. work up to things until you feel your ready to do them :D

There's nothing wrong with fear... a lot of the time if you're scared of doing something, it's your mind telling you that you aren't ready to do it yet.
Other times you just need to man the fuck up.

just keep working on it man
ive been tricking for 3 years now and i progress hella slow. fear will go away with time. sometimes you just need to grab your balls and do it, but know your limits as well.
als je een move wil oefenen waar je bang voor bent, probeer die move dan te visualiseren, en bedenk goed hoe je m gaat uitvoeren. dat helpt zodat je de zaak niet verkloot en helpt tegen de angst.
grab a couple of mats and start with ez stuff and slowly build up. things like backflip you just gotta throw them a lot and the fear will go away in the end.

Fear , yes i know it sucks !
The way I got rid of it, is just falling in every possible way haha.
We've trained alot together, and how much do you see me fall in 1 session?
about 50 times. But i don't care about falling its very important if u wanna get further.
You can analyse a trick a 1000 times, but your body is the one thats got to do it.
Get used to the feeling of the trick, and then just doing it.
And ofcourse u get injured , but thats part of the game.
Tricking is all about taking risks and doing stuff ur not really sure about.
But it is very neccasary to progress.
Believe in urself and u'll be able to do whatever u want.
:good:
c'mon guys just do like I did : go see your fear and kick in is ass so strongly then it'll never come back. After, just make sure to don't crash yourself too hard because you forget what is fear.
For me, no more fear now, only pain sometime but I can deal with it:wink:

DONT BE AFRAID TO BLEED !
all i can say.
Pain is an aspect you get to deal with alot in tricking.
I've been able to enjoy those pains because it shows me im giving it my all to progress.
You dont have to be an idiot and try everything.
But after you analyse a move you just have to try it.
And yes you are gonna fall, and yes u'll probably get hurt alot more then 1 time.
but after u do it 300 times how can you still be afraid of it?
you already know whats gonna happen. How you can catch urself.
Where your body is positioned at that moment.
And then the fear will just go away.
But you gotta commit man.
only one able to change that is yourself.
I could go one for this for hours but you are the one thats gotta do it.
You just have to look it in the eye and go for it.
Don't be afraid to fall.
Kick, flip, twist as hard as you can when attempting a new move.

Hey, whats up mister F!
Ok man, I've tried to make you train seriously quite some times, and so have other people... and I think this might be my last try :P
I'm not trying to offend you with this stuff, take it as constructive criticism! :D
One of your biggest mistakes in tricking is: you're not TRYING and WANTING to improve, you're just getting comfortable in tricks. Getting comfortable as in: you do the tricks you can already do, saying you're gonna improve them (while we can't see you putting more effort into it most of the times really...). The only times you try something new is when we (the people you train with) try to stimulate you (try a btwist! try a roundoff back! JUST DO IT DUDE). And when you do, it seems like you're only doing it to please us, but you're not making any serious effort to land the trick.
This might be because you are afraid or whatever... Well, if you REALLY want a trick you have to GET OVER that fear and JUST DO IT (it's a part of what tricking is about...).
You not doing it proves the fact that you don't REALLY want to learn the trick. Ask yourself: do you want to improve, do you want to (for example) land a btwist or a roundoff backflip? Then practice it, fuck fear. Put some serious EFFORT in your tricks.
When you try something you cant land yet, like a btwist, most of the times I see you only practice it like 2 or 3 times, then fall back into your usual 'comfortable' tricks again.
So yeah, do with this info whatever you want to do with it... I'm just trying to help and this is the way I see it (and I'm not the only one btw :P)! So no hard feelings cause you know we're friends!
Anyway, I've told you most of this already so I don't know if it's going to have any effect. And last but not least, don't start debating with me about this, k? It's just the way I see it, that's all. Take the info or leave it

Il just go out and do 100 btwist attempts....then die....
You shouldnt be afraid of tricking after 1.5 years, if you are, there is something wrong with you. Ive been tricking for 6 months now, and im not afraid of any trick that i already know. Sure, if you trying a trick for the first time it should be scary, but after you do it and fall a couple of times your fear should go away. Just get pumped up with adrenaline by watching cool sampler before you go to trick.

I just need to grow some bawlz on this i guess.
Gold vision.
Don't worry, this is all part of the learing progress.
How do you prepare yourself mentally for tricking?
Do you calm yourself down in between tricks to focus your mind?
Do you stamp, snort or run around like a madman to hype yourself up?
Do you visualise the tricks and think about them as the day goes on until you practise?
I personally use to use the first one but now I vary between the last two. Different people prepare themselves in different ways. This is an extreme sport it does take guts, but you'll find your own way of coping and eventually it'll just become natuarly.
Also ignore the very first comment, if you go out and trick and enjoy it you are a tricker. The whole point of this is to have fun, this is life; not anime. You're not on some quest to BECOME THE ULTIMATE TRIKCSTERERERERERER WITH ULTIMATE RIDICULOUSLY SPIKEY BLUE HAIR. Just ease up, relax and do it naturaly, this is a hobby, fun is the name of he game.
