how do you guys break through the barriers when you're doing something completely new?
i just got back from my gym session and it was alright, saved it at the end from turning into an epic fail. i get there, its all good, trying new shit, etc, then i go to the wall to wall flip, freeze out. i had them down, took me 20 minutes to get the fuckers back. next, foam pit and straight gainers, never done it before. took me like 20 minutes to try it.. got it fine in the end into the pit. then gainers on tramp to crash mat... bounced on the tramp for like... 30 fucking minutes, pathetic as shit. its something i used to have.
then i salvaged it, i wanted to try straight gainers on the ground, after about an hour of being a mad bitch i thought "fuck it" and just blew one out, after that it was fine. and i was busting those fuckers out.
how about the rest of you? how do you break through? i hate going home in the car feeling like "ffs, shit session. im bad at this, everyones progressing faster than me/everyones better than me".
edit : i had a fucking mad idea, im super pumped.
i wrote in red pen (RED PEN FUCK YEAH) that next trick session i would tear it up and a list of shit to do, NO BITCHING OUT.
put it near my monitor, everytime i look at that motherfucker i think about just giving it a shot. fuck it, whats the worst that can happen.
